In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So in other words the vet, just like everyone here, knows what you are claiming, is in fact, not true and you are most likely the cause for the snakes current illness?

I think the vet knows. I sent the clinic a link, I am sure they read it and showed it to the vet.

I am currently in a PhD program for physics. I don't want to hold that over anyones heads.

As of tomorrow I will contact all the other educational institutions in Austin with PhD programs with a link to this thread. If this person is in fact a physics PhD candidate, he deserves in my opinion to have his candidacy retracted for this sort of behavior. And if he not a student but is faking the identity of a real student, the physics departments should unite to investigate and stop the identity theft.

Nothing I have said is fabricated or untrue

Nonsense. Trolling for an argument. I thought you had a lot of work to do? Let's just wait for the results of the PayPal claim and the letter from the vet. 14,000 views and counting.

Depends on what it says, now, doesn't it? I've already outlined all three (I think) scenarios...it was about 30 pages ago.

Ok. But people try and do this all the time is bring up other issues and try to make that have reflection on a different issue. It's called the strawman argument. You find a bunch of stuff online about me that has no reflection on the current issue, and try and connect them. Everyone in legal land is aware of these tactics.

I don't know why it is taking so long. I am also going to call back and see if they think she is healthy enough to send back.

I don't think he's claiming that all the snakes on his site are his. There is a link below a photo for 'my collection' or whatever but it's not one of the tabs at the top. In many, but NOT ALL, of these pictures, he includes a website as a reference.

Now, as for 'Pastel Jigsaw rare and Beautiful', I believe that snake was produced by Jeff Luman. Wonder how he enjoys being referred to as a 'fellow snakegenius' by Thomas.

Ironically, and I'll doublecheck when I get home, Mom of this litter is from him.

Yep, that's my pic. I didn't give this guy Thomas permission to use it. Thomas, when you read this please remove my picture. I will email Thomas as well.

yea i will take it down right now. Sorry about that

A straw man isn't quite used that way. You're not being picked apart out of convenience for carrying the banner of one particular side in a well-worn argument. It's your demeanor, husbandry practices, and mendacity that people are objecting to. An affiliation with the underground homemade drug market does you no favors either.

Rob, I think it's very clear to everyone that you're a stand-up person with intact moral rectitude with a healthy collection of animals. But I think you're doing yourself a disservice by continuing to indulge the troll here. Unless you're contacted personally this evening by an avian vet in texas with a background well-grounded in reptile pathology and a working knowledge of IBD, I don't think anyone would blame you if you made an unannounced departure from your TOS, turned off your computer, and made yourself a strong drink.

No body has even entertained the possibility that the snake just has a serious inborn illness.

Rob what was the hatch date of this snake? How are the siblings doing? Any current pics of them? Show Thomas the inborn defense is not valid?

I haven't sold 1 snake so I don't have a reputation. I don't really have anything to loose. When I get some animals to sell that's a different story. By the time that happens nobody will remember this.
As of right now, this thread shows up on page 6 of a Google seach for your name, Thomas. Wonder how long it'll take to make it to the first page? I guess we'll find out. Assuming you're ever able to produce anything, which is a pretty big if, those who are diligent enough to research before they buy will very likely see this thread.

I know you're not going to be honest with us, so don't even bother answering publicly. Just ask yourself this question: If you were someone else, and were considering a transaction with Thomas Dorn, would this thread inspire the necessary confidence for you to want to move forward with the transaction? I'm sure that you're digging all of the attention, and maybe you're even delusional enough to think that you're somehow winning, but it's seriously past time to start thinking about basic self-preservation. Maybe it's time to quit while you're so ridiculously far behind that you're probably not even still in the race anymore.

They're called context clues. When you show a blatant disregard for propriety, in other aspects of life, it's not too hard to see how that can be extrapolated into being applicable to any other given situation. It's even easier when you've chosen to demonstrate a profound lack of integrity on this forum. Online credibility is a very fragile and nebulous thing. Once it's gone, it's not very easy to get back. Your credibility is long gone.

People can die at all kinds of ages. The same is for snakes as well. You can be born, healthy for a week, and suddenly die.

I thought I would add that it's now 6:25pm in Austin and still no word from the vet. Most vet offices close at 5pm. I'm guessing you're not going to get that letter you promised all of us? I'll even go out on a limb and say you never went to the vet to begin with. The fact that you buy your antibiotics for your reptiles from Europe without even seeing a vet shows that you don't care about your animal's health. All you care about is saving a buck or two. Maybe you thought you could damage that poor killerbee (who is so perfect and beautiful) so you can scam Rob. You pay $650...damage the snake...take advantage of the guarantee and get the $650 back and keep the snake so you come out on top. That is scamming and I hope you see that we all see it. You can't fool anyone else.

You're so blind to your own ignorance that you continue to make a case against yourself without anyone even prodding you in that direction.

Its mind boggling how out of touch and dangerously stupid people can be.

I still say he was trying to find out what their letter head looked like and was going to try and forge the letter. Sorry I'm on my meds and they make my mind stay on a 1 track thought for a while after I take them.

That post your referencing on ball-pythons was in response to someone in the Philippines who did not know where to get antibiotics for reptiles. My vet is not expensive and has everything I need. I don't need antibiotics. I told you already I had one minor case of scale rot in the beginning that was treated at westgate with fortaz.

Wrong again.

I am not scamming anyone. I again direct you to watch the video. The snake is very ill, confirmed by the vet, and I offered to pay for the vet and shipping back to rob.

Monday for Tuesday is fine. What's your phone number? I'll call Sunday or Monday to remind you :). I shipped some snakes out two days ago and the guy wasn't home...first time that's happened. He got them at the hub, though, and they are fine.

I watched the video. It looks like a bad wobble. But if the wobble wasn't that bad on the 22nd but was on the 23rd...I bet it was made worse by some kind of stress you put on the snake. That stress can be a lot of things: flipping it around, temperature spike, trying to force-feed it water, etc. Wobbles don't get worse overnight unless something aggravates it. I have a spider, myself, and she has a very mild wobble. If she ever looked like your killer bee in the video, I'll take a look at my husbandry and take her immediately to a qualified veterinarian.
