In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

I really hope he doesn't pull this off in the credit card chargeback.
Will you get a chance to state your case and show evidence that he never provided you with testing, not getting to speak with the veterinarian he supposedly saw and his last statement showing she was not dying or damaged?

If so, you should have plenty on your side to argue against him trying to scam you.

Kindest regards,

Amanda Rose

Just received an email from Thomas.

Subject: Shipping Yellow Back

When is good for you.

I replied:

You should wait until a decision has been made on your chargeback request.

As I said before, I'd rather communicate through the BOI.

Thanks,
Rob

I'd add to that that, like I've said MANY times, I'll be happy to refund him if he can prove that she was sick when he got her. Of course, if she is healthy and he is simply dissatisfied with his purchase, I'd still refund his money if he was willing to come here and apologize for all of this nonsense. Both of these options, of course, are dependent upon Yellow's healthy return to me.

Oh...yes, I made my case with PayPal over the chargeback. Although I won the PayPal case, I am not as confident about the credit card chargeback. Whether he wins or loses, I'd like to see Yellow in the hands of someone who wants her. Like I said before, regardless of the accusations that have been made, she's the victim here.

I hope you get her back safely, whatever happens with the money. I've been following this from the start and hoping it all turned out ok. I almost want to take the poor girl myself now :(

Yellow is doing fine and has grown significantly since I got her. She does not have IBD. None of my snakes or the snake rob sold me have IBD. She has a severe neurological problem. I am sending her back because I don't have the resources to watch over this snake in the event she doesn't drink and gets dehydrated again. I was expecting to, and I am entitled to a better specimen for my money I paid. I know about spider wobble. This is my 3rd spider. Yellow's wobble is very severe and noteworthy. She still holds her head upside-down and sideways. Her righting reflex is nonexistent. She is otherwise healthy besides the inborn problem.

The wobble I have observed in my other spiders manifests as a corkscrew during locomotion, mis-strikes, and stargazing. Yellow has all of the above in addition to a nonexistent righting reflex, holding the head at a 45degree angle, and moving with her head upside down.

In my opinion she needs to go to a keeper who has more experience then I do.

I am not a scammer, and writing that about me is unprofessional and false. I have actually spent 120 dollars on yellow of my own money which should not have happened.

Rob just be home to accept yellow. I don't want her to undergo any additional stress.

Well all this would of been avoided if you didn't falsely accuse Rob of the snake having IBD. Now people who have read this, will most likely not deal with you. You could of handled this a better way.

You mean the "inborn problem" that magically managed to avoid manifesting itself for all but 3 weeks in your "care", until after your own glaring ignorance led you to do something stupid? Yeah, that certainly points to it being preexisting.

I don't want her to undergo any additional stress.
Maybe learn a few things and stop flipping her upside down? :shrug01:

Yeah, I was going to post this:

You will receive the tacking number in a few days. If your not home she will be at the local fedex hub

It seems that Thomas would like to force the issue, after being denied his PayPal claim and before the chargeback dispute he initiated has been resolved. So much so, that he seems willing to send her whether or not someone is here to receive her.

Thomas, please read my last post.

Is she healthy or not?
Why did she have no wobble for 18 days?

Thomas, until I came across you, I'd not encountered anyone who thought it was okay to tube-feed water to a healthy snake. I have rarely, if ever, seen a ball python drink. As mentioned several times before, the water bowl is for humidity and soaking; balls get most of their hydration through their food.

Is she healthy or isn't she?
Why didn't she wobble for 18 days?

I have actually spent 120 dollars on yellow of my own money which should not have happened.

I agree. I have offered to pay for testing again and again. You have not allowed me to speak to the doctor nor have you provided any evidence that she was ever sick, yet you have accused me of selling sick, 'junk', 'defective' snakes. The vet bill was 60 for the checkup...did the water tube cost $60?

There are only a few things that could have happened here, Thomas:

1. The snake has severe 'Spider Wobble', but showed little/none of this before December 23 (18 days after you received her and one day after you force-fed her). If she does show severe Spider Wobble, what took it 18 days to manifest? I offered to pay for testing, but you haven't had any done.

2. The snake is fine.

3. The snake was injured while in your care.

Which scenario happened, Thomas, or is there one I am not thinking of?

My experience with you has been awful

I don't have to answer your questions.

I don't have to let you speak to my vet, and waste his time.

The snake is going back to the address I have with paypal.

If you don't arrange a proper time with me she is going back asap.

If you don't receive it and she dies then that is something you will have to live with.

The experience I described dealing with you is completely accurate

I don't want it to happen to anyone else

Expect a tracking number shortly

Didn't he say that the snake was fine other than a wobble. So he lied about all this IBD and the snake was going to die, and his experience with you was horrible. Am I missing something here?

it is going to cost about 60 to send her back. send me a shipping label. she always had the wobble and I most likely did not notice it until after sometime. I have been busy lately. I just got her set up and left her alone. I have 30 days to inspect the animal, and like most of the other snakes I got on fauna I assumed it was good quality. When I noticed she got dehydrated was when I noticed the wobble issues. I previously observed her moving around like spiders do but did not think much of it.

Everything else i purchased on this site I have been very happy with.

You should at least cover the shipping back if you don't pay me 60 for the vet.

My experience with you has been awful
I am sorry to hear that. I have offered a full refund if you are dissatisfied or if she is sick. I have offered to pay for testing to prove she is sick.

No, you don't, but how could i hurt?

I am not sure why you'd have it from PayPal...you lost your claim with them. It should be on the return label of the FedEx box I sent you, though.

If you don't arrange a proper time with me she is going back asap.
So you'd kill a snake? Really?

If you don't receive it and she dies then that is something you will have to live with.
See above.

The experience I described dealing with you is completely accurate
Then answer some questions...how could it hurt?

I don't want it to happen to anyone else
It hasn't, and with any luck, it never will.

So you'd kill a snake? Really? (I'm simple folk...remember?

Rob, he's trying to rush sending her back to you because the CC company won't rule in his favor until he does, so he's going to send her back whether you accept her or not and wash his hands of the mess because he is unable to accept responsibility for his own actions and if she dies, he will point the finger at you, not himself.

He is also going to send her to you with a high of 45 during the day tomorrow and a low of 30. Yeah, he really cares about her well-being.
