    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I just wanted to express my deepest condolences to you, Steve, and the rest of your family for your immense loss. Life can be immensley cruel at times, but we have to pick ourselves up and move on...I know, easier said than done. My thoughts are with you and your family in this time of sorrow, as is everyone else's who's heard about this tragedy I'm sure. Hayden is surely in a better place, free from the chains of this mortal coil. And I'm sure he is smiling down upon you and your family. Words cannot express how truly sorry I am for you.

I beat you to it Chris! I put the photo banner you made (as well as a link to your auction site) on my home page (actually I'm linking to it). I also have a link to the fauna sticky you created. I don't have a lot to donate, but I do average over 100 hits a day, so you should have some extra traffic coming from me.
 
I added it to my site tonight. It's not a reptile site but I offered a special discount to any of my customers that contribute to either the auction or the memorial fund. I don't have much to give right now so I hope this helps. For some reason I had trouble getting the pages to link up but I will send a follow up email to any responses I get with links.

Although you don't know me, I come here to Fauna, and also frequently look at the HISS site, and I have learned so much from your generous sharing with others. I understand that right now you may not even be able to comprehend what has happened, and what is happening. But when you do get the time and the energy to read everything sent your way, my hopes are that you are able to see how many people stopped their day to day living, to take (at the very least), some time to remember your son's life, remember you and your family, and send loving thoughts your way.
