I have a long term captive pair of West African Big-Eye Black Tree Snakes. They are feeding on thawed rat pinks and live hopper sized mice. I handle them freely and they have never tried to bite, although they are rear-fanged. A really interesting species. Their shed skins smell like Indian spices!
