    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was wondering if there was a way I can turn on the option to preview threads or if it is just disabled on Fauna. By "thread preview," I'm talking about when you take your cursor and hover over a link, a little window pops up and gives you like three or four lines to preview the thread before you click on it. I can take a screen shot if neccessary. Thanks.

Sorry but I disabled that option. Personally I hate it. Those thread previews constantly get in my way when I am trying to see something else.

Secondly, it is a burden on the server because all the text that is displayed for EVERY thread when hovered over by the cursor needs to be downloaded from the server for every page displayed for every viewing member. This puts a substantial load on the server, and also makes page download times longer.

All things considered, I decided to do without it.
