• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Threatened by a customer at work

The person you spoke to on the phone with the police dept. is wrong (at least in Virginia I know threating over the phone by email etc etc. is a felony offense) I belive thats actually a federal law Im not sure on that though but the police could deff do something and Yes 98% of the peole like that are just blowing smoke Sorry to hear about your bad day.

I'm guessing the reason they can't do anything about it is because it's probably either a pain in the butt or almost impossible to find out who it was that called and made the threats, not to mention trying to prove the threats were made....

The owner of the pet shop caught hold of me just as I was hopping over the counter to make the lady eat it.

ROFLMBO!! your my kinda person.

I was once told I was going to "burn in hell" by a tiny little old lady because she didn't agree with the refund amount on her item which she did not have a receipt for.

And the police response was BS. Take your complaint higher up the chain in the police department. Even if there is no proof at least a complaint was made and it may make him think twice about threatening someone again. Or if he does get in trouble, hopefully your complaint will pop up to show his track record for the courts.
