    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I got this little CBB normal female in 9/2008 (hatchedJuly 2008).

She has a good appetite, doesn't refuse meals often, and has always had good body tone and good proportion... BUT she is only a tad over 2' long and probably 1.5 inches around.

Is she just petite? I wonder if anyone has ever had much success breeding small females, though at this point I am fine with little Daisy remaining a dainty little pet.

Just curious as to how often this is seen - here are some pics from just now.

I have a female that is about the same age, she's 1000 grams and growing very slowly.
Are you 100% positive it's a female?

EDIT: my girl is a Aug. 09 @1000 grams

While there are probably some that just don't grow to the sizes we expect, a 3 yr old at 2ft long would seem extreme. If everything is appropriate husbandry-wise, and the feeding schedule isn't an obvious factor, you might want to have a fecal sample run.

I'm temporarily caring for a female that had been with her previous keeper for 3 yrs (not sure how old/big she was when he got her) - she was 604g on arrival here. I was told that she was fed a live mouse every month...and it sounds like your girl is smaller than this one.

Well, she was sold to me as a female and popped by the seller at the time of purchase so I did see with my own eyes, no hemipenes.

I do have a set of probes and will try that out on her - though her tail and spur shape seem female compared to males.

Good idea on the fecal - she's been on f/t since I bought her but she was likely started on live - I've never seen anything amiss with her stool but you never know what might be hiding there. I'll let you know what comes of that.
