• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Inquiry Tim Salime?

I have. I posted my experience. Do not buy from him! I just lost my tortoise this am. He sold me it knowing it was sick saying it was something else.
 
I have sold Tim several high end tortoises without incident. The deals have been a pleasure. I have only good things to say about him.
 
Thats selling him things. Not buying. I have had about 10 people pm me with what they bought where how much and the outcome. Ive even seen the other babies hes selling they are wild caught diseased and have their eyes all crusted shut. Not just random buyers have contacted me but even stores in toronto have contacted me about their dealings with him.

It should be pointed out that the importation of any turtle or tortoise species into Canada is illegal unless for research, scientific, or zoological purposes. I'm not sure whether or not that could incriminate you in any form or way, but if he didn't sell those tortoises in the US then he smuggled them illegally back into Canada.

I would be willing to bet Larry conducted his business within the US. If the buyer then executed an illegal function post-buy, I do not see how that could be on Larry.
 
The importation of tortoises are np for this guy. The man of many names is in fact illegally bringing them in. I as well as a few others have bought what we believe to be wild caught. All sick all died. Btw Tim Salime is not his real name, the latest name is Fei Luo on facebook. Xu Lucien Tim to name a few
