Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Time between 1st & last Hatchlings?

Quick question for those breeding Bearded Dragons (P.Vitticeps) on a regular and/or long term basis:

What's the longest time you've seen between the 1st hatchling emerging from a clutch and the last hatchling?

I bred Dragons years ago and never observed longer than 5 - 6 days between the 1st & last. Most were within 24 - 48 hours or so.

Thanks for the reply.

I asked because I had my 1st clutch for the year start hatching on June 2nd, and the last baby hatched about 7 days later. There are still 2 eggs that haven't hatched though.
They are both large, firm and aren't moldy or dark.

I guess they could have gone full-term and simply failed to pip the egg. :(
 
i have found that the eggs get softer right befor they try to escape.i have some hatching now as well started 4 days ago and i have 4 eggs left to go still and only 1 seems softer than the rest so im betting he wil start this eavning or tonight.
