    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

beware of this guy.we had agreed on a trade .he recieved my animals and never sent his. claimed the dragons i sent were not what he picked in the photos i sent (not the case at all ) one hour after getting the delivery.he said they were dark and not colorful(no kidding, in a box for 24hours in the dark lol)

regardless he said he was sending them back because i was scamming him. i tried to email him and his email has been canceled. he got my delivery on the 1st of April and i have yet to receive my dragons as of the 9th.

i have sent a complaint to the Michigan sate police and have received a reply that they will be looking into it , not sure what that means .

he had a pair of hog island boas he wanted to sell for 120.00. they were 08.i was going to buy them, and in our email conversations i had told him that i breed dragons so we agreed on the trade .

and his name on here is dembinsky1976, it appears hes never been back since.

4 sandfire dragons for pair of hog islands and a normal redtail yearling.
 
Well that's funny...I was supposed to meet him in Flint MI on 3/27/09 to pick up the female Hog Island boa for $75.00, but he backed out the night before via email (3/26/09) because he stated his father passed away Weds night (3/25/09).

Can you post any correspondance you had with him?

He had contacted me about a trade for one of my albino boas and I said it wasn't quite up to my trade value and no thanks. Shortly thereafter I found the ad where he stated he had to sell them -immediately- because he could no longer keep them in his apartment. So I asked the obvious question and attached it to the ad, why would you have PM'd me to trade for yet another boa when you could not keep them in your apartment?? I was actually very polite in case he had a valid answer. He freaked out on me and threw out a few insults... hours after his little pissy fit on me he claimed they were sold to someone.
I knew that it reeked of something foul... I'm sorry you got the short end of the stick on this!

It was because of that exchange that I would only do the deal in person...good thing too from the way it seems.
 
I've had a feeling all along that Timmy is actually the same person as another who was scamming and caught stealing pictures for his website in an attempt to scam. I might be wrong, but my gut tells me I'm right, especially since the boas I received pictures of from Timmy looked VERY much like the ones this previous scammer had up for sale. I'd never seen a steel blue hogg before, what are the odds that two guys from Michigan, who live in the same city, each have one that color (male) in a pair that's available? The IPs were different, but that's not so difficult to do.

I don't remember ever looking at the reardon posts when they were still complete, but here are the pics 'timmy' emailed me:









The pics that were on the reardon posts were apparently lifted from the TKR Reptiles website, though I've searched it and can't find these pics on there.
 
I think I have those snakes. I answered a local ad on craigslist. They are awesome snakes very tame and quite beautiful. I did pay the 120.00 for them but he said he had to move them or move himself but he could keep the other 2 larger snakes something about a landlord. My husband picked up the snakes and checked them out so I never actually met him but he did seem upset when he gave them to my husband at least thats what my husband said. Didn't understand why he could only keep 2 snakes and really didn't care. did seem fishy but they are super healthy great temperments so my husband took them we purchaced them on March 25th. He was kinda pushing the issue on the 23 or 24 to see if I wanted them said he prefer a local to meet to get idea of home they would have, seemed like an ok deal, I was running my head off with kids parties that week.
I am soo sorry that this has happened to you!!!!!

Okay opps I forgot to go to page two. Those are my snakes and the pics he sent me. The male is appently a hogg X hypo. Again sorry.
 
If he sold the boas to someone else, then he should not have accepted the dragons. Especially since he was set to receive them AFTER you picked up the boas.

That would mean you know where he lives. Give that information to the OP. He can bring it to the police. At the very least, call the landlord and make things very very difficult for him.

i have everything on the guy....... i dont think the Michigan state police give to much of a Sh@T .... well i did get a "looking into it"

got to be a way to get people like this to pay for what they have done, of course i have a few ideas myself but life in prison isn't an option lol.there seems to be a steady rise in this type of theft as of late.i myself wont be doing any kind of trading for a long time unless its in person or close enough i can pay a visit http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/images/smilies/reddevil.gif

i have never had a single issue before this one but once is enough.shame because thats a big of the hobby.... well to me anyway.
 
No I don't know where he lives other than Saginaw MI but he has other snakes that I know of. He has a brother to one of my hypos and I did PM the other person. I knew I recoginized the name when I seen it and the first thing I said is no way when I read his post. I thought he was a good guy a little different is what my husband said but alright. Wow were we wrong.
