    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy timmy dembinsky

My last response from him via email Thursday night, read bottom to top. The jerk could have at least been honest with me and said he sold them. But then again, after reading what he did to Jamie, it shouldn't be a surprise.

Yeah, it can sour you real quick if you get burned on a trade.
I wouldn't trade unless I had a landline and a confirmed address. I wouldn't ship first to someone I didn't know. Trades can be a big part of building a solid collection. Just use a little caution.

What was the address you sent your package to? The email he used to register here is the same posted on this thread and the IP doesn't match any other user.

Do you have something that proves/confirms his real name?? The IP on this account didn't have any matches...though that doesn't necessarily mean anything, from what I am told.
I'll have to go back and check the timing...if it IS Chris Reardon, and the creation of this account falls into the period during which he was banned for his behavior here, he won't be around long.

thats the name he used when he sold the snakes to the current owner.... in person. i doubt its a bizarre coincidence .
 
the plot thickens

so i did a search on the phone number i have (same as the one he gave to others) and its in a different name.... not timmy,not chris......but a Karie Erskine. is that name on here ripping people off also?
 
It's amazing...

to see people go this far out of their way to scam folks... not surprising, but amazing to uncover it.
Shorty after my 'getting told off' in that ad he had up for those hogs, a member sent me the Chris Reardon link. Ironically, I realized that individual had also approached me with a trade for an albino boa for a pair of Hog Island boas previously a few weeks or so back before he was banned and that that steel male was in fact probably the same animal. So we had been toying with the idea that they were one and the same person for awhile. When I saw this thread and the name... I just had to nose around and see if he really did 'sell' those hogs and what happened.
Crazy the lengths people will go through! I feel horrible for the OP... I had a gut feeling someone was going to get the short end of the stick with 'timmy,' 'chris,' or whomever they may be impersonating now. It's really too bad that our hobby has such jerks in it... but have faith, there are still a lot of awesome people in it!

That is true, and I pointed that out at the time because I was suspicious then.
 
What I have found out

So I purchased the snakes from Chris Reardon. His cousin?/friend? is Timmy. He buys his feed from the same local guy I do. I nosed around today to find out who Timmy was. This is all from a second hand source I just answered an ad on craigslist. It kinda freaked me out my snakes being online. I seen the name in the post and said that sounds really like my new ones and then I seen those picks and thats what he sent me.

By the way has anyone seen a hogg that color before like the male? I don't think it's a hypo cross looks nothing like any other pic of a hogg I've seen.
