    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had many snakes over the years,just not any right now..Sorry,but I couldnt take them to IRAQ WITH ME!!...I am on this site to learn and see what I would like to purchase in the future...You will be off this site before me with the way you call innocent people scammers and such...

If temps are in the 50's - low 80's it should be fine to ship by 2-day.

Well you live right here in MD with me. Amanda lives in Va. one state over. What have out temps been the last two weeks? in the 90's highs at and over 100. that has been for two weeks. whats the temps in the ups truck???
 
That's a shame,and all over nothing really.I'm sure if you just spoke to Amanda like an adult she would have taken care of w/e problem it was/is that you had/have.

It's really that simple and would cut out 39 pages of BS in the process.

Just one question here that I'm not sure has been asked or not. I've skipped over quite a bit. Once it starts getting crazy I just skim through to the next coherent thought.

Has the usps stopped doing overnight shipping? I too am of the mind that if 2 day shipping is the best you can give your animals, you need to be dealing only in person. I wouldn't even feel comfortable sending bugs 2 day, but perhaps that's just me. I'd refuse to deal with someone who wanted to ship any live animal via 2 day anything, period. Yes, it costs extra, but that cost shouldn't be your bottom line. All I see is whining about how 2 day is all there is. Bunk. There's options out there, they just require more effort.

Shawn, I'm sad to see you descend into this. What started out as a case of some major hurt feelings between friends shouldn't have had to end this way. You two could've acted like adults and come to some sort of agreement as to what would make things right, if you could have moved past the urinating match.

Wouldn't deal with either of ya as it stands, no offense.
 
Well, I hate to say it but I guess I was wrong about Shawn. I'm definitely glad he showed his true nature before I got a chance to do business with him.

As for Amanda, and what she did wrong. As mentioned I disagree with her shipping practices, and believe she should charge her customers for the price of overnight shipping no matter what whether you run the risk of losing a customer or not.

Another option since I do know you ( Amanda ) live in the middle of nowhere would be to simply plan one shipping day a week. Your customers can get there order in by then, or wait till the next week.

Other than that I've got no problem doing business with Amanda. Other than a few posts on this thread she's never been anything but a joy to deal with, and her animals are great quality.

I truly believe that Shawn's animals didn't thrive simply because both Amanda, and Shawn made a poor choice to ship at a very hot time of the year. Please let that be a lesson learned. Just because some people ship at a little under 40 degrees, or a little over 85 doesn't mean it will turn out alright every time.

Anyway if you can read this Shawn ( or when you get back from your ban ) Please man you've displayed a horribly childish business ethic. The absolute WORST I've seen anywhere in this business. Though you've gone from friend to the "Don't do business with" list in my book I hope you do some self searching so you can do things differently in the future.

Shawn.... I think (and someone can correct me if Im wrong) what folks are trying to say is... you admitted that you and your son in law? were in business together. It doesnt matter if he sent it... or you sent it... it still came from YOUR business.

I have someone helping me with my animals... but I refuse to let him package or ship my animals. The first thing my customers will see is either the packaging or the shipping method. Both of which need to be top notch... therefore I do that myself so I know it is done properly and to my standards.

And there he goes. I can't understand why some people just self destruct like this. Instead of going at this in a mature manner he acts like a prepubescent child and he goes off striking out at everyone. I guess some people aren't as stable as they appear at first I guess. Too bad he had to go out in a manner like this versus just walking away and taking a day or two to cool off. Some people just can't handle a little confrontation and those people are ones I certainly wouldn't want to do business with. Shawn has made my list for sure!
