    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is it illegal to ship snakes via USPS or just against their policy? It is a big difference, one, you can get a slap on the wrist and they might not let you ship again, one, you can get arrested for. So which is it, illegal or against the USPS policy?

I do think it is against the Lacy Act to ship a reptile without labeling it.

How old are you? It's one thing to try and get facts straight and act like an adult. But this childish like behavior does not look good on you and contributes nothing to this thread.
 
If you want to quote me Amanda, then answer my questions also. I asked you why did you tell me there was a 50 dollar shipping charge when you use USPS. I would really like to know this answer because I was also told by you that you thought your dragons were worth more then a 100 dollars when I offered to pay 150 shipped. I have had 3 dragons shipped USPS OVERNIGHT for only 26.50, so please explain that question to me.

It was 2 shipments, corns were a while back and the 3 bp's where the other day! USPS 2nd day so pleaseeee tell me you are not altering labels and trying to say you shipped UPS???

Dave, I would imagine that it is against USPS policy but being a part of the federal govt, it would also be a violation of law. I could be wrong but considering that there is already a black mark on our hobby, its better to be safe than sorry.

Also, it wasnt just not labeled. The snake shipment was labeled as bearded dragons.

Amanda, it CLEARLY states that the SYR shipment was in March, around the same time you got the corns from Shawn. That is why he chooses to avoid my post ;). By the way, did you ever take pics of the box that they sent USPS like I told you to?
 
First I would like to say that shawn has never shipped to AMANDA through the usps. The first time that we delt with amanda we shipped her two corn snakes and two ball pythons. The two corns and one of the balls were shawns the other ball was mine. And let this be clear it was under shawns name and through UPS ship your reptiles.com. The second time we delt with her I shipped under my name through usps and yes it was a mastake and he gave me crap for it so dont slander his bad name for my mistake

OOP's everyone cross their fingers :-\ it's totally illegal to ship snakes USPS lol or I would have been doing it. I reallly hope they don't do a random spot check and open it up, it's jail time for both parties lol.

I know also for a fact on this site you changed their price 2-3 times and never changed it on your own website. I know this because the person I was going to buy the female trans received an email offering the same female for the original price of 150 + shipping, but yet you kept changing it on here constantly. Can you explain that?
As for Lizzys care, I have no clue how long he has had the dragon. The dragon looked very stressed, but was kept in a clean enclosure and had food. Would I recommend the dragon be placed into a separate enclosure, yes I would. If I could tell that and if you had a problem with how the dragons looked also, then why are you just now saying anything about his care. Werent you two friends and shouldnt you have acknowledged this too him before now?
 
To answer your question:

Yes I was selling them for more than $100 and the shipping would have been $55 from here or more. Some times it is $67 for UPS overnight. I threw a fit one time and ask why mine cost so much more than friends who ship online and they said because we are so far out and it's hard for UPS to get the airport at the end of the day to get it there overnight blah blah..

So I was not selling the trans for $95 and the bad part is that I could have taken the deal and drove the 3 hours just to find out it would cost $67 for shipping and then all the gas money to go there to ship it.. How much would that leave me for selling the trans????

Ben, where are YOUR emails stating anything pertinent to the issue at hand? As far as I can tell, Shawn sent you to ship for him. You all live in the same house so I look at it as one business and one email address = same person.

First of all it is not your concern or business what my prices are on my website or how much they go up and down.. That is my decision to make is it now? Just ask Shawn I dropped the price way down for him, even gave him one for $100.. Would I have done that for you? NO! His was a friend..

This is so not about my prices lol..

John, this thread is about Shawn Lewis, not Amanda. I would suggest that you take your rant to Amandas thread, at the very least, before you start incurring infractions from a mod for being off-topic. Also, seriously, if you have nothing to add (why post)?
