    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Lol again pleaseeeeeee take the time to READ before posting such comments..

I DID try and try and try to work with Shawn, first time I replied I ask a few questions I asked if maybe she ate a bug too large or an outside bug I ask if he was soaking her every other day or so and misting her down daily.

THAT is when he went off the deep end, I did not get another reply from him instead he blocked me, deleted me, and left rude comments of my profile.

Well I found out WHY, he said it was because Iquestioned his husbandry skills by asking if he did those things with the dragon..

I stated here many time that if he would have said something I would have replaced her, even after she had died after the 10 day ect..

As for me saying something about how he was keeping the dragons in that condition I did not know. I just found those pics on his facebook NOW I know how they were taken care of there.
 
Thats bull Amanda because he sent you a video remember! Give it up and stop playing the innocent victim. You knew how he was caring for them with the first 4 and yet you sold him more. If it were me, he wouldnt have gotten another one of my dragons until he was doing proper husbandry. Like I said, the almighty dollar is what you really cared about.

People have pointed out some stuff you have done that needs to change. None of us can change the past.

I'm thinking that people break themselves.

This is crossroads. Instead of defending practices that maybe shouldn't have happened, go forward and change. Ship thos lizards overnight. Pay more attention to their health and well being.

People here on Fauna get pretty serious when it comes to stuff like this and rightfully so, critters deserve the best we can do for them. So some of the outrage you are hearing are from folks that genuinely care for critters.


This thread is not a race to see who could win, both you and Shawn lost. But you can turn it into a win if you show by your actions that from now on, you'll do all you can for your dragons. The people here who criticized did it not to hurt you, but to help the dragons. They are owed thanks for their help and concern.

If I were to give advice, it would be to step out of this thread AFTER thanking those who pointed out what needed to be done better, and then quietly with no fanfare, doing those things better. Don't show with words, show with action.
 
this thread has for sure made people not to deal with the op and tin . how sad people cant seem to act more professional. and if tins husbandry was known beforehand shame on any seller providing more animals to suffer the same fate.
 
Wow, all I can say is wow. I'm sorry but I don't see myself dealing with either party (OP or Tinman) at anytime in my future. This was all childish and unnecessary, and could have been worked out a long time before it got this far.

Best of luck to everyone involved in this deal. This is just sad all around. :(
 
So I get bad Karma from Miss Deb, that most people can't stand even Shawn cusses her daily. She says "do the right thing" well Deb just what is the right thing to you?

The 3 day guarantee was up but I was going to replace it anyway since we were friends but Shawn did NOT want that, so please come step up and post what the right thing is, when it wasn't even me that killed the dragon!

Again go look and see what is killing his dragons..

That's not the only time that statement was made by Amanda. So the offer was out there a long time ago, but apparently he wanted nothing to do with it.

That was the very first post on this page by Amanda, so in his defense she may have offered a replacement later in the thread the very first post says different. She also states that she has no more baby dragons to replace with, but again in this thread she also states that she held back one or maybe two and one is pictured in her Avatar.
Problem is this, if she is willing to give up one of the holdbacks? Will he take it after she pretty much called him a baby dragon killer with poor husbandry practices? This has now gone way further then just replacing a dead baby.

This has GONE WAY TO FAR , She has one prev thread against her back in March 2010 , Then she has that shawn started , Thread on BOI from shawn for Saling UNDERSIZED DRAGONS WHICH SHE DOES . They are to little to sale . She has Hurt shawn in a way that knowone can she accused , streghth the Truth , lied in some comments , Exhadurated, Commented on Pages in diff threads about how she Would Never Double Ship Needed rest time and then she Double shipped the Dragons( **** ( sorry if spelling not correct ) , People attacked him . Thats why you saw the Weak Side of shawn she hurt him badly, as a friend . She said horrible things about how he takes care of his animals ( thats no friend if that was the case she should have said something along time ago if she were his friend. ( which in all honesty he is obbsessed with those Animals , hes U/e for the past Year thats all he does, hes in the Reptile Room . He loved getting up everyday and getting on fauna , Thats all he talked about! I just wish that this Ended a Differant Way.

My comment , Whether it was a rescue or just recieved , or To little to ship it should not Be Double Shipped i don't think this may have had something to do with it , May was Stressed Out ?

Wait did I read that right??? The corns he is selling are sickly rescues that he picked up recently??
And now he trying to sell them off?

Wow I was NOT told that he had just got them nor that they were rescues!!!

Good lord I hope I read that wrong, they should have been quarantined and kept long enough to avoid double shipping stress and at least kept long enough to see if they were going to be good eaters ect..

We rescue and rehab alot of stuff, some of those rescues we keep for over a year before re-homing them and we don't "sell or trade them"

For crying out loud a newspaper is written at a 6th grade reading level and if you can't do the same please find a 6th grader to write your posts so that those of us who have a 6th grade reading level and above can understand what you are trying to write.
 
Ok Ben, you got to calm down first and foremost. Double shipping does cause stress issue that can cause the untimely death. In this situation, IMO that probably was the cause with the 2 days in a box with the heat. The only problem that I have is this, I am a smoker too and I have a lighter sitting in front of me as we speak. I got a tape measure out when I saw the post that Shawn made with the photos on his profile and measured from that picture. The baby dragon was NOT 3". It was 6-7" in length. Tip of nose to tip of tail is how you measure a dragon. That size is acceptable to sale and ship, but you will run into more stress issues with a dragon that size if its been double shipped in a month.
 
The tread against me then was a joke and proven to be a false bad guy thread so try again! All because I would not talk to him on the phone!

I will say it yet again that I would have replace that dragon even though the 3 day guarantee was long up because we were friends and I liked Shawn. He did not give me that option at all or even give me a chance.

Same as I told Dean the night it was going down, I would had even giving him some baby veiled's, corns, or other dragons when they hatched.

They not right out of the egg as they say and def. were not 3 inches..

I'll have to look it up but pretty sure they were here 3-4 weeks before I shipped them. They were doing great, go look at the pics in the ad I had for them..

The very first thing I said to him in my reply to "she has died" was I'm sooo sorry! And I mean it, I'm truly sorry for the lose as I know he really wanted a trans. And the first thing I thought was "maybe I can trade some stuff I have here or buy him a trans and send it"

And yes it hurts because Shawn does know me better and he knows deep down I would have made it right! NO I did not want him ban and was not expecting that.
