Tioman Island locality kukri snakes. 2021 hatchlings. Hatched in April.
I've been producing these for a few years now.
Ground dwelling, high humidity species from Malaysia.
NOT a beginner species. They require tease feeding, not usually a problem with a species as defensive as these.
They're well-started on tease-fed ft pink mice. Use hemostats to tap the snake with the pinkie. They'll get right up and strike at it. They usually will take egg-scented hairless fuzzy sized mice when they get more size on them.
They have a nasty bite, even right out of the egg and are ready and willing to deliver it at all times. DO NOT handle them unnecessarily, it stresses them out.
They need feedings every three days. This is IMPORTANT.
As they get some size, feedings can be stretched out a bit.
