In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would just like you all to know all about tkexotics. I personally klnow these people as they live in my hometown I have been to there house and seen the mess that they call tkexotics, now i am not telling anyone what to do here but, I wouldn't sell anything to these people if my life depended on it, they are constantly posting in the python and boas section of the want adds asking for certain large snakes and always end there post with telling anyone if they have unwanted reptiles, to let them find new homes for them.. They have never found a new home for any of the snakes they have aquired and half of them are put in rubbermaid containers with no heat or water source and on one occasion i know they had a snake die... I could really go into more detail about them but for my partners sake I wil not(for he is married into the family) but if anyone would like to know more about these people just email me and i'll tell you some horror stories about tkexotics.. what you do with this information is up to you but as for me I keep them as far away from my herps as possible.

Thanks for listening,
Bob Kite

in my defense, click on the link included at the bottom of this, it has pictures of my facilities and the wooden cages located within. also, in the pictures of the snakes on the site, you can clearly see that they all have wooden cages except for the three aquariums that i have. as for the water, you can also see that i have water tubs filled with water. i spend everyday cleaning their water dishes becuz i, as well as others, believe that if you can't drink out of it, why should your pet?!?!?!  also, as for the food, my snakes get feed once a week, unless they are in shed, then that weekend is skipped. most of them eat frozen thawed and a few eat live. i always make sure i have food for all of my snakes. i will not say anything negative about Bob; however, i will stress that there are no "horror stories". also, i have placed animals that i have aquired unless i kept them here. Isis Nile was an 11ft female burmese python that i found a home for. the other 3 snakes we kept, them being Jade, Phantom, and Raven!

You be the judge. Also, to note:
i just bought a snake from this partner group on the 31st. i just found this topic about us yesterday (which was posted on the 25th); and the snake is very gorgeous and it came to good care.

In the pics on your site, I count 4 tanks without water dishes. I maybe counted wrong. But just wanted to state what I saw. I couldnt help but notice how many are soaking. I do not have vast knowledge on all species, but in my collection, there are no soakers. Just my thoughts.

believe me, there is water dishes in all the cages. a few of my snakes don't soak. but the ones that are in shed always soak. don't ask me why but they do. ever since i have had snakes i have had soakers. most snakes soak when they go into shed. only a few snakes do not, for instance my kenyan sand boa does not soak, but that's probably becuz it is a desert snake. i can take front pics of all the cages and send them to you if you want so that you can see where all the water dishes are.

My response is to Al ........... You said you have no snakes in your collection that are soakers ?  You must have just have fake snakes in your collection.  I keep and breed boas, pythons and kingsnakes and except for my arboreals they all soak at one time or another.

Well, I'm with Gary on this one.... I've got over a hundred snakes in the store (most of them in single tanks).... I've got a waterbowl in each tank that's big enough for the snake to get it's whole body in it.... and, every single one of them soaks from time to time.... including my Western Hogs! If a snake soaks a lot, they will have PERFECT donut sheds!
Personally, I think tk's room looks great! The cages are very large and from what I can see.... clean?? So, Bob, what's your problem?? Is this just another case of professional jealousy???

....Neil

Ummmm no, my snakes are real. I too keep and breed Boas and Pythons. And out of 40+ snakes, not one is a soaker. Like I said, those were just my thoughts.

I don't want to get involved in the judgement of this breeder but I do have a comment about the soaking.
I have to admit, most of my snakes don't soak. I have a small collection of snakes, and most of them don't soak. I have a water bowl large enough for each snake to fit in, in their enclosure, and the only ones that I have seen soak are 0.1 Western Hognose (I haven't seen the other 1.1 Westerns ever soak), and I used to have a carpet python that would soak immediately after she ate, but no other time. Even my 1.1 Ball pythons don't soak. I have no problems with shedding. When I notice that a snake appears to be getting ready to shed, I will mist the cage good, but I don't ever see most of them soak.

Just curious.  The original poster has not stated what his reasons were for posting.  Sounds suspiciously like someone with an axe to grind.

I said what i had to say the first time around, there is no use beating a dead horse, There is no jelousy involved here, I saw what I saw and thats that. It takes about 20 minutes of your time to put water in these cages and a cheap 50 dollar digi cam to take the pics.. Take in mind that you are talking to a 16 or 17 year old girl here.. they are not breeders now.. they have never bred anything before.. I saw what i saw. and know what i know... I am sorry if this post got everyone in an upraor here but what i stated was factual at that time...

Well Bob.... as I see it, you two live in the same area, and you KNOW each other (why else would you be in her house?), there has GOT to be another reason for you doing this.... this sounds very vindictive to me! This is something that could have easily been taken care of by just mentioning it to HER!! There is NO reason for you to try to rake her over the coals for a couple of empty water dishes (which I STILL don't believe).... this was totally uncalled for! What is the REAL reason???

....Neil

Believe what you want to believe I never once said that you had to believe me, I said to take it for what its worth, if you don't believe me FINE... Thats whats its worth to you so drop it... I could really be the a$$hole here and tell you all a few other reasons why I posted what I did.. But the main reason was I seen with my own 2 eyes there "facilities" and unless i have gone blind in the last couple of weeks Everything i posted was the truth. I say again take it for what it is worth... If you want you can give me a call tommorrow morning and I can go in depth with you a little more i will email you my phone # but as i said before My partner is married into that family and for the sake of putting a burden on him, I will not post anything more negative about karen than i already have.

I expect to hear from you...

Sounds like you got into the middle of a Family fued... But hey if your friend cant publicly attack his own family prehapse you should stay out of it. That is my only opinion on the matter, take care now bye bye...

you are right, i am a 17 yr old female. does that matter?? i love my snakes, and like i said i will not say anything bad about bob. i do believe that not all snakes soak. for instance my ball pythons, my desert rosy boa, and my kenyan sand boa do not soak, but the others do, i believe it is up to the snakes. my biggest python, 16ft sheds the most wonderful sheds for me. i got him from someone who did not have a dish big enough for him, and when i brought him home in a cage that's huge and a big water dish that he can fit his whole body in, he soaked, and i still have the first shed he ever gave me hanging above his cage. i am very proud of my collection. i wish i could show the whole world how much i love them. every last one of them are my PETS, that could explain why i do not have breeding pairs right now. i'm not in this for breeding and selling for money. if and when i do plan to breed, it will be to cover the cost of caring for them. right now i love and study them and their personalities and will eventually study their mating habits, hence i will probably have to mimic them for mating, because next year i plan to attend Iowa State University majoring in Veterinarian Medicine and Herpetology.
i do not have anything against you Bob, i just want us to settle these differences that we have. this is useless running around like this, especially since we do not live more then 10 miles away from each other. also, since your partner in the business you guys have, is my boyfriend's brother-in-law.
