• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well its pretty clear that a whole lot of us on here need toads and not some idiot to put a thread to never reply too or email back too!!!

anoles vs. toads

interested in any anoles ? my hogs luv them and take them without hesitation, my southern ,my baby westerns and my eastern female, all eat anoles, actually seems that they like em' more than toads, anoles are fast to get away though so i always stun them first to make it easy for the hogs to get a hold of them, If you want to try some with your hogs i sell them for $1.oo each discounts availible in quanity. If interested email me at [email protected]

I need toads/anoles for a hatchling hog-preferably dead

Hello,

I am also a Hog owner-(hatchling) I need something to scent his food with, as he won't eat pinks, at the moment. I would prefer that they be dead already, and could 3 day ship versus overnight and/or be local. (I am in Madison, WI.

Thank you,

Scenting is the answer. I have a pair of easterns on tree frog scented rodents. take a little work, but it is best.

I agree with Nick. Westerns, Easterns and Southerns will eat a variety of foods, but scenting mice is the best. Scenting with frog, toad, anole, eastern fence lizard work well.

Ok well I can tell you where to get toads but I guess if I post the website that sells them Jim O will give me another warning...hmm the defenition of spam has changed so much these days I didn't know that the answer to a question fell under the defenition of spam as well...PM me if your looking for feeder toads

Try this

Buy canned tuna packed in water. Dip the piinkie or mouse in the water and then feed the snake. This is the best way I have found to scent pinkies and is the cleanest and my wife doesn't get mad for having dead animals in the freezer.
