    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This year I did some breeding loans with Tom Carlton. To start off I get one of my snakes back with a respitory infection.(Male Spider). The whole situation with this guy was horrible from communication to getting the truth from this guy.
It seems every clutch of eggs went bad we produced from my Ghost. Well he has three clutches of het yellow ghost for sale. Then nothing happens with my spider but hes bragging and advertising about clutches hes going to have for spiders and bumble bees. Well the reason I took my spider over to his house was his spider would not breed , So he was going to use mine and not his. Hes telling me all the hook ups he witnnessed the folicilles he feeling. And after this all I recieve is my spider back with RI. I just have a question if his spider and ghost were producing why did he keep asking me to bring mine over. I know why he thought since I was new I would believe everything he says. So this year when your buying spiders and het ghost or bumble bees tell him to sell them to you for half price because they are only half his.

Jeff from 5StarMorphs remember the gravid female I got from you. Those eggs went bad too. Just everything went bad.
 
You might want to get a hold of Neil Gubitz, he seems to highly recommend Tom from his previous postings.

believe me. Greg I took eggs to his house they went bad. Every single egg we got from my ghost went bad. (close to 20 eggs) He know says the spiders and bumble bees he waiting for are frm his snake. Well If his snake was breeding why did he want mine so bad. He told me he wasn't using his spider. If his spider was breeding why was he putting my spider on all the females? Alot of people may not believe me or care but I know 3 clutches of eggs went bad and my spider was a breeding fool that no females got gravid.
Every single project I worked with Tom on went bad. If he was going to have 3 clutches of het ghost why would he want to use my Ghost. Wouldnt he rather make het pieds etc.
 
He didnt even call me when eggs went bad!

The only time I would get this information is when I called him. He not once would call and tell me. The only time he would offer information is when I would see him out playing poker. The lack of communication and every clutch going bad after 50 days.

A bit late for them to be going bad. Are you sure it was not just a faulty incubator causing them to go bad that far along?
 
I am wanting to get this right: Did he have all the eggs incubating at his house?
 
Yes all eggs were

at his house, including the eggs I got from a gravid female I bought from Jeff of 5StarMorphs. Wich Jeff told me that the female would have been gravid from a blonde pastel or his IMG ball. (Jeff didn't know the female was gravid when he sold her to me, Just thought I would put that info in here.) Steve to answer your question all his clutches hatched fine that we didn't partner in!

That seems very odd that only the eggs from your joint project went bad.

Have you sent him a link to this thread?

I think a lot of people would like to hear his explanation for this.

He might not reply. He told me before that the people on this site had nothing better to do than talk sh**. He didnt have time to play games on the computer.
 
For everyones information

Tom Carlton does currently have many snakes with RI. Alot of the bigger breeders know Tom has a RI problem because he was seeking help in clearing it up.

And what is this RI problem you speak of? I've heard of another disease going through a lot of ball python collections that is much worse than an RI (though some of the symptoms are similar). Just wondering if this is what you are referring to.

Yes that's Tom.

The RI he (Dan) is speaking of is the same disease that people are talking about. It is one bad thing from what I've heard. I just stay away from anyone who I've never bought from before.
 
Its HORRIBLE

Kelly it took me over a month to clear up. Yes I went to the VET and had a culture done. There was two different bacterias or whatever. I had to give Fortaz that didnt work. Then I had to give a combo of oral Baytril and injections of Amakacin. It was really nerve wrecking. Yes thier is some news going around about Tom and two other breeders with this strand of RI.

BTW, what is this new strain of RI?

I made a pretty decent trade deal recently to get some breedable females and would like to know more about this RI (particularly who has it in their collection).
