    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Mixed result for me. Not anything nasty, mind you, and the animal I received was healthy.

I bought what was advertised here as an 18" yellow foot last year. His method of measurement must differ significantly from mine, as I consider scl the standard for tortoise shell length. Measured 13" scl. I was disappointed, as I expected a genuine 18" YF, but it was healthy and the hassle of reshipping an adult I did not want would have been another pain, so I did not bother him about it. I paid at least $100 over what I see most regular adults of this size (13 inches) sell for.

I just took it as a lesson going forward to ask for photographs with a properly lined up measuring tape for animals where the exact size matters significantly to me.

Were I to ever consider another animal from him with accurate measurement for that animal being an important factor to me, I would insist on pics with a lined up tape measure so I do not end up with 72% of what I am expecting. Live and learn.
