    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Tom of RarePythons.com

I've been breeding reptiles on and off for about 21 years now. I have lots of experience in the industry as a seller, breeder, wholesaler, and show vendor.

If you've been in the hobby for 21 years why wait till now to get/establish a business name, and then decide to purchase a highly tainted business name? Doesn't sound like a good business decision based on the "lots of experience in the industry as a seller, breeder, wholesaler, and show vendor". A good business decision would have been to buy the stock, but ditch the tainted name. yanno?

The only place I have had any issues with the name is on this site. I get lots of sales from the website, shows, and people who bought things from Chris.

I was at the same shows as you, Tom....must have missed ya.

You've been in this business for 21 years, and were not able to establish a reputation for yourself in that amount of time? Instead, you felt it would be better to buy a fledgling business from someone who imports parasite laden bp's with the intent of flipping them for a quick buck, while using his "facility" as a front for grow cabinets.

It just doesn't make sense to me that someone with any idea of good business practices would think to do something like that.

Oh, yeah.....just so you know....my decision to buy from you or not would have nothing to do with the company name. It would have everything to do with the company's history. A company with a history such as Rare Pythons is not a company one purchases. I could see purchasing the assets, but the fact that you don't see the wisdom in distancing yourself as far away from Rare Pythons as possible causes me to question your business sense. I don't know anyone else in this industry that would want to be anywhere near Chris Cassaci's reputation....unless he's still hanging out in the woodwork.

Well I had 2 tables at every show. In Oaks we were the end cap of the first section to the right hand side, in Lancaster we were again the end cap in the front of second row in from where attendees walk in, in Manchester we were by the exit on the lower level against the wall second to last from the end, and in Rockland we were in the first row third vendor down. As for a reputation at shows, with other breeders, wholesalers I sell to, customers that have purchased from me I have no issues at all. Your opinion about Chris and how he ran things is warranted but I am not Chris and he has nothing to do with how I do things or the company at all for about a year now. As for business practices as I said before this site is the only place I have ever had an issue with the name.

I think I remember seeing you at Manchester now. Did you have some big Bredl's on your table? Also, you doing Hamburg? I'd like to stop by and make my own assessments on what you're selling.

I would just like to post as an update, the snake I purchased is on it's second meal already of f/t rat fuzzies and seems to be flawless! Great snake, thanks Tom! I didnt realize you were right near by in Yonkers, I'm up right outside of Peekskill; I want to check out your shop sometime. Thanks

No Bredl's we had a large carpet python at the end of the table in a 20 gal tank. Not doing this next Hamburg show had previous commitments most likely we will be there for the December show.
