We've done a few deals with Tom over at zoo supply and I thought I'd take the time to give him a much deserved A+

He's always given us great reviews so I thought I would give him the same courtesy. Packaging was top notch, animals were flawless, and all correspondence was timley and the transaction(s) were overall a wonderful experience. Not to mention he has one of the industries best vets ON SITE so his animals are given clean bills of health before leaving his facility. Excellent!

I would not hesitate buying from tom in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Zoological Supply

I contacted Tom two days ago about in order I needed this week. I just received five snakes from Tom.

They came fast and packaged well. Excellent job Tom.

Tom has great customer service and is reliable. I would not hesitate to buy from Tom at Zoological Supply.

Tom is awsome, him and I did a deal a little while back and even though it didnt end the way it was suppose to,Tom was quick to make it right, A+++ in my book :)

Thanks....

For the kind words. Glad everything came in alright Dennis, and hopefully next time we can have a bit smoother deal Bill.

Anyways thanks for the kind words guys, Hope we can deal together again in the future.

Good Guy Post

Bought an adult pair of ball pythons and 19 fancy 04 females. All are eating good, look as represented, and packed professional. Thanks for the good straight forward deal. Good person to buy from. Skip Riddel, Sterling Reptiles,Weatherford, Tx. :)

I just bought another snake from Tom

and I could not be happier. The snake is lovely, and he even held her for almost 2 weeks so I could pick her up at the shop.

thanks Tom!

Thanks Charlene

Thanks Charlene, it definately makes it easier to sell to someone when they are as good a buyer as you, thanks for the business!

I have never heard of one person that has had a problem with zoological supply......

It is good to see there are good dealers around...... I am happy there is a BOI..... It helps to weed out the dirty from the clean.....

Awesome!

I ordered two red eye tree frogs from him. He was very easy to work with and answered all of my questions. They were shipped quickly and packaged great. They are beautiful frogs that are doing very well! AAAAAAAAAA+++++++++

Tom Snyder Good Guy

I called Tom at Zoological Supply asking about Sinaloan Milksnakes. He held one for me at his retail store for two or three days just so I could drive down to take a look at it that weekend. I decided to go ahead and purchase the snake. Tom was very helpful; he sexed the little guy for me before I drove back home. My new snake eats with zero hesitation and is extremely tame. I would do business with him again. :)

Thanks Sarah,
It was nice meeting you, hope the little one is doing well.
TOM

Tom, Is one of the good guys left out there. I got a pastel male ball from him back in October called him at 3:30 in the afternoon sent the money and the snake was in my hands next morning. very pleased with the hole transaction and would definitely do business with him again.

Hey Craig...send me some pics of that guy....Would like to see him, thanks for the comments guys, it is really appreciated.....The guys (and girls) that post here on fauna are some of the best customer's around.
Fauna and the boi attract people that genuinely care for their animals...I am happy to sell to these fauna members...thanks again.

loser update

its funny how it so easy to be a good business owner/operator, when everything is going your way. A true test is how you handle things when things go wrong. I have known Tom Snyder back when i was in Ocala--always had a funny feeling about the guy--alway talked a big game. Well we started selling to him in his new operation, and did not give any open terms. His last order, over a $1000-we gave him open terms to pay within a week or two-this was a long long time ago. He has never paid and now is unreachable. I waited a long time to post this giving a mutual friend ample opportunity to get him to pay, but now Tom Snyder is avoiding him as well. I have heard that he has ripped off a few people before ducking out. He is still in Ocala florida, and still around the animal business, but may be dealing under and alias. This guy is a crook and a bull#$#@er. Beware-Ben Siegel

Not surprising considering the topshelf loser who started this thread. Chris probably taught him everything he knows.

Maybe this deserves its own thread?

Tom's website is down and he hasn't posted at fauna the last six months or so. Didn't he have a retail location at one time? Is it still there?

Ben

Ben sorry to hear about your situation. It is a shame as like you I have known Tom for a few years via internet communication and a few phone calls. I have never done any actual business with him, but he always seemed like a ok guy. Anyways I had been talking to him up till about 4 months ago. He told me the site was going down and he was getting out of the animal business to concentrate on other stuff. No clue where he went but its a shame he had to go out with a poor reputation that he has now earned.

When I did business with him a couple of years ago, he did.
I have no idea if he still does.

Tom, Ben is absolutely right. It is how you resolve problems when they occur that counts far more than hassle free transactions.

I hope you plan on addressing this. Regardless, if you are leaving the business or not.

Ben, how long have you been waiting?

have to dig out the invoice-i would guess 5 or 6 months since we shipped him. I think his email is [email protected]
he has a myspace page as well at the following address
http://www.myspace.com/zoological
he logged in there as recently as today however i am not a member of myspace, so i cannot email him or post on his page--if anyone here is a member of myspace, maybe they can send him a message or post on his page some how or another.
