• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Tony121204/Anthony Pappas is a scammer

This picture is a direct link to the scammer, have you seen this person before?
If you have seen this person, please PM me directly.

As of today, I still haven't seen the other pair of torts or my refund. I'm still waiting on my credit card co to pass judgment. I have been treating the female with antibiotics and she is starting to come around.
I talked to the scammer a couple of times but he finds different ways to justify not giving me a refund, the last one was, in one of my posts I said I was reluctant to return the female since he either didn't know or didn't care that the female was sick so he said that I said I wouldn't return the pair if he gave me a refund. I still don't think he had these torts when he sold them to me. I think he came up with them after the fact and that's why the 21/23" female is only 13" and sick. And I don't think he ever intended to give me a refund.
I hope things turn out better for the rest of the victims than it has for me.

I'm happy to share some information for readers. I in turn hope both readers & victims will start putting the dots together and help out. So far two people have posted on the BOI about this particular person: Rick & Sam. The Scammer (for now I will call them a "He") will continue to do this until he is caught, period end of story. The worst thing would be for a victim to stop fighting or not help in the effort.

Are you ready to help? Great, here we go...

I totally agree. That's what the BOI is for, and everyone working to help prevent and out the scammers helps save all of us as a community so there are no further victims.

The Scammer used two main aliases:
Tony Pappas (supposedly Allentown, PA)
Mike Cogar (supposedly Woodbridge NJ)

Consider anything the scammer posted as 100% lies and work backwards from there. Dennis earlier in the thread posted the IP of both Fauna aliases, proving that there was only one person pretending to be two separate people:

So for the moment = One scammer
That IP goes to one place: Elizabethtown, PA
Elizabethtown, PA has a population of less than 12,000, small town.
The Scammer is from Elizabethtown, PA = fact. New Jersey is fake.

The Scammer then attempted again to send us all on a wild goose chase to New Jersery. He used the whole Kate Ellis alias to supposedly ship Tortoises to Rick (Victim) from New Jersey. The Scammer tried to make us all think that he was from New Jersey and the package came from New Jersey.

In fact the package did not come from New Jersey, even though the scammer put a New Jersey address on the package. The person at Delta filled in the slip correctly. Any guesses where the package really came from if not from New Jersey?? Hum...

The shipping receipt to Rick says: "Airport of Departure: MDT"
MDT = Harrisburg International Airport
MDT is 11 miles away from where? That is right = Elizabethtown, PA

Package came from Harrisburg, PA = fact

He (Scammer) had me ship them (Sam's Blood Pythons) to the local FedEx hub next to where his "fiance'' Kate Ellis works. The address to there is 1958 Fruitville Pike Lancaster, PA 17601.

Sam (Victim) shipped his scammed blood pythons to Lancaster, PA. Not just Lancaster, but the north west corner of Lancaster. Closest distance to Elizabethtown.

Notice how Kate Ellis supposedly shipped torts from New Jersey to Rick.
Now Kate Ellis supposedly works in Lancaster, PA in Sam's deal.

All of this is happening within 34 miles total. Elizabethtown in the middle.

Sam is on Fauna right now in a different forum. Lets see if he comes here and shares with us any updates.

We asked Sam to post pictures of his Blood Pythons that he sent the scammer. We hoped that if the scammer ever tried to sell them, we could compare pictures against each other to identify the scammer. Most likely the snakes would be flipped fairly quick since they were "stolen hot" items.

What do you see?:thumbsup:
