The person pictured below by Max99 (thank you by the way), is the person who sent in the ID to Fauna for Kate E Ellis. Not only was this person in possession of the ID, they also sent a picture of themselves holding the ID. Both the ID and the person holding it matched. This person IS in fact Kate E Ellis, independently verified now thanks to her mugshot.

This mugshot comes from Jan 2016 Drug Charges

The real Kate Ellis, with her ID and photograph & now mugshot has been here since 2014.

So who are you?
If you are "a" person who happens to also be named Kate Ellis, why are you here? Simply because your name matches? There are tons of people named Kate Ellis.

Your story has more holes than Swiss cheese and I expect if you even respond it will be some random generic vagueness.

Thank you for lifting the ban. I appreciate it. First off, I found out about this thread from my mother. She googled my finance, Anthony DiStaulo. And this popped up and my name is all over it. In 2014, Anthony was into the reptile business. Buying, trading, breeding, shows, etc. I was unaware that people he was dealing with were not receiving the correct animal or the animals at all. When I was asked to hold up my ID and a glass of water, I was told it was because someone he was dealing with didn't believe I existed because he was using my email, my name on a Western Unions, as well as shipping and receiving animals from Fedex and Delta. I had no idea someone was pretending to be me on here. When I read what was said by "me" , it doesn't even sound like me or the way I type. I'm totally mortified that people think they were scammed by me. I would never do anything like that to someone. Especially, involving a living, breathing animal.
Anthony has realized he was wrong and he's doing his time for his mistakes. His brother and uncle were also involved. I'm not exactly sure who did what. But, I wanted to formally apologize to every one that were effected by his actions. I am willing to answer any questions and try to help clear up some things. I would also like to speak to those individually that had given money and never received anything in return if possible.
My intention was never to come on here and start problems or stir up more lies and non sense. I've made mistakes in my day, that's for sure. But, I also don't deserve to have my name Googled and people to think I was part of a scam. I honestly, feel terrible for everyone involved and completely embarrassed for what my fiancé and his family have done. I hope my apology is accepted and some understanding is given. Thank you for the time I was given to explain myself.

I just re read parts of the thread and I just wanted to make it known that Scott Fitzwater had no involvement in any scam whatsoever. He was a good friend of ours and our landlord in Elizabethtown,PA. He did however, retire from the business and moved away. But, he always did business honestly.

One more thing, just so this is clear. "Layla0511" was not me. I was not aware that username was made to represent myself and "clarify" some things. The person behind that username was one of the following or possibly all in on it together : Anthony, Sherman, Alicia or Dave. I don't appreciate them using my name like that. And if anyone knows me at all, they know I'd never conduct myself like they were. Nor would I mislead people from the truth and send them into left field with false information. It just doesn't make sense.
Also, I may have missed something some where, but was anyone left without ever receiving any kind of refund or compensation? I know the man with the turtles was supposed to have money refunded and was only sent half if I'm not mistaken.

Okay I'll bite, mainly for entertainment purposes, because you still have not brought any proof to the table, only deflection from yourself. So if "Layla0511" was not you than how did you know your account was banned? You created a false account to bypass the ban and didn't address the issue that someone else used your identity until your last post. Sorry I might be a bit slow and would love for you to spell it out for me, and others having a hard time with your story. Your knowledge and finger pointing says you were more than just a pawn or innocent victim in this mess.

This whole thread has revolved around people using fake names, fake accounts, scamming etc. Honestly "Kate", you could be Mickey Mouse for all we know right now.

Before I would even personally take this new Kate Ellis account seriously, you would need to send the Moderator staff a new picture of yourself holding a piece of paper that says "I am Kate Ellis and I am aware my name is being used on the Kate Ellis account, I am here to clear my name up because of a scam my name was used in".

If not, then you could just be Anthony/Mickey Mouse/anyone simply using Kate's name all over "again" per your current claim/defense.

I shared this story with my kids now. Here is their depiction of how they think it must have all happened with the ID. They are not the best artists, but bless their little souls, they tried. Even they are completely confused. "Dad, how can she say she doesn't know who made the fake account, since it was the same person who asked her to pose for the ID picture?"

I would be more than happy to send a picture holding a sign up. And let me explain this a little better maybe. Anthony could not use his own name for anything for two reasons, once being he didn't have ID. And two,he was on the run from an outstanding NJ warrant and the police were looking for him. He was almost caught from having snakes shipped to our house by using his real name. So, we moved and he never used his own name again. He used my email address, had his phone in his uncle's name. (Charles Pappas ) that's also another reason others were involed as well. They all hid from me what they were doing as well as other things not involving reptiles. They knew I would have flipped out because I do not engage in things like that. I was pregnant at the time and we were waiting for our son to be born before he would turn himself in and take care of his legal issues. I know he's done a lot of wrong ,but he's the father of my son and I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and change their ways and be a normal person.
Also, it doesn't make sense why I wouldn't be the real Kate Ellis. It has been two years later and it seems kind of pointless to want to come back and start the bullshit all over again just to lie. And if those feel like there are holes in what I'm saying, I'm willing to answer any questions and try to explain better and well enough to understand.

If someone could please explain how I send a photo to prove my identity and reason for being here, that would be great. Also, the reason I said Anthony and then said someone instead of still using his name is because I'm not sure if he was the only one making accounts on here. And because some of the stuff said sounded like a 9 year old was typing those paragraphs out and I know Anthony isn't that stupid. However, Sherman is. That's why I was leaning towards him being one of the people typing. When I used Anthonys named it was for things I knew he was doing for a fact. I'm not positive on who exactly was who behind the fake accounts.

Oh and to answer the question about why I used a different name is because I read in the thread that a list of names including mine was fake, ban or just an alias. So I wasn't sure how it worked, and I figured if I stated my real name and explained why right off the bat, it would have justified my actions. And I bypassed the ban, becasue I was upset that I was pushed away without even given an opportunity to speak. I take this thread very seriously and I don't think it's something to play with. These people that spent their hard earned money on reptiles and didn't get anything in return is serious. And when it involved myself and my fiance, I definitely wanted to try to help as much as I could and try to make things right. I know I personally wouldn't enjoy the feeling these people had when they lost a lot of money through PayPal transactions,etc. I just want everuone to see what I'm saying is genuine and I am a good person. Yes, I've made mistakes but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person or fall under the category of a scam artist, theft , liar, etc.

So, for clarity, are you saying that the person who created the "Kate Ellis" account asked you to pose for the ID photo, and then sent in that photo themself as "proof" (to pretend to be you)? And to get the photo, they just claimed to you that someone was saying you weren't real? So, basically, the mods asked THAT person (Anthony, Sherman, whoever was using the account), and they went to you, made up a story about why they wanted a photo of you with ID and glass of water, and then they (the pretender) presented that photo to the mods as "proof" they were you?

I take this thread very seriously and I don't think it's something to play with. These people that spent their hard earned money on reptiles and didn't get anything in return is serious. Personally, I don't see much point receiving another picture. We were sent a copy of her driver's license, and then a picture of her holding her driver's license; and she's saying that it wasn't her that sent them. I have no doubt that she can produce a photo; but what would it prove?

You realize that you make no sense. It doesn't matter if you didn't know, you LET HIM USE YOU! If you lay with dogs, you're going to get fleas. So You KNEW he couldn't use HIS identity to legally do any of the above things you said; but it was ok for him to use YOUR identity and yet you still see nothing wrong with that?

Just to make another point; if you were pregnant during all of this and you willingly are putting your child in contact with this con-artist, then you're just as bad as him. As a mother you should want MORE for your child. You shouldn't want them to grow up thinking all this illegal BS is ok. But something tells me you don't give a crap either way, and you just want to "clear" your name so your fiance can use it again to do even more illegal crap.
