In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Too late in the season...

Hey guys. I just had a quick question. I've been trying to breed a pair of blizzards I recently bought, but I wasn't sure if it was too late in the season. Most of my leo's are being cooled right now, but the blizzards seem to be eating normal. I've also been hearing some tail shakes. And, the other day, I noticed that the female blizzard had what lokoed like a bite mark on her nose, but it may just be my wishful thinking. :eatpointe But anyways, I was just curious to find out if any of you have had leo's breed this late in the season? I've got one egg left in the incubator that will be a tang het for albino...I'm excited to see it! Well thanks guys.

Well, I don't usually attempt to breed my leos as we get into "winter" here in California, but I've got unintentional EGGS as of this morning - her first clutch of the season  :eek3: :eek2:

I was cleaning cages a few weeks ago and found one of my females in the WRONG cage - she had taken a trip one flight UP and somehow got in with one of my males. :slamit: I still have NO idea how she accomplished this or how many times she had previously engaged in these "conjugal visits"!...little hussy. Yesterday, she spent hours squeaking, chirping, and digging up the entire lay box and this morning it was perfectly packed down back into place. A little poking around and sure enough, 2 big healthy eggs in there.

I think it depends a lot on how your breeding groups have been cycling so far this season - some breeders breed year 'round or at least have groups that don't begin cycling and laying until later in the season like now.
Needless to say, my geckos all still seem to be quite horny. The female doesn't seem stressed at all, is consuming all food and supplements like a champ, and still seems none the worse for wear. This may have been because I didn't ever intend to breed her this season and she felt she wasn't "gettin' hers", lol :>poke2<:

** Bastard geckolings, anyone? "Bred for temperament! -Outcross your lines!! " LOL Oh well... :nopity: )
