No live arrival guarantee either. So if you spend 4 grand on that there snake and he arrives dead...

A bit of advice on selling these imports so you don't catch hell over the descriptions.
Don't list them as being genetic.
Granted some are really nice looking but to label some as genetic super stripes is misleading.

Josh, there's really nothing "brutal" about it.

This guy is selling unproven, CH animals as genetic morphs, when he has no idea if they are or not. Some of them for thousands of dollars...and they may prove to be nothing more than an unusual looking normal ball python. Sure, half of the fun is proving out some of these unusual animals...and there are some pretty cool looking ones....but to call them genetic, or give them the names of animals that are proven genetic, is deceptive.

And no, they do NOT even guarantee live arrival....unless you ship airport to airport, and even then it's only given in credit toward your next purchase from them.

Door to door shippers only cover shipping cost if it arrives late, not the cost of the animals, so why should we have to pay for a mistake that the shipper made. Delta covers the cost of the animals if there is a problem. They are fully aware that they are transporting live animals, unlike most door to door shippers. Just because some people want to save $25 on shipping, doesn't mean we should guarantee live arrival on something we have no control over.

You cannot possibly know for *sure* that ANY ch animal is genetic until you breed it and prove those genetics....and you may not have specifically SAID that others are genetic, but you have called them by names of proven genetic morphs. Semantics, my friend.

Yes, you guarantee live arrival with Delta...but there is no refund, only credit toward another purchase. And if you are Fedex and UPS certified to ship live animals (uh, last I knew UPS didn't offer live animal shipment, more less certification)....they certainly DO know that they are shipping a live animal. And...you do not guarantee live arrival with a Fedex or UPS shipment even if there IS no carrier error...so even if the shipper does their job perfectly, you still will not take responsibility.

And.....Delta simply is not an option for many who live several hours' drive from a Delta hub, so please don't insinuate that those of us who cannot ship Delta are simply "cheap" . Actually...shipping by other carrier to many locations these days will run almost the same cost. The last Fedex package I sent out was $85...how is that the "cheap route"?

And lastly....YOU are fully aware that you are shipping live animals. If you do not feel that YOU are capable of packing an animal sufficiently enough that it will survive the trip, or that it may not be healthy enough to survive the trip...you shouldn't be doing it. Every business is going to encounter problems with shippers, and it is part of doing business. Costs should be adjusted accordingly to be able to absorb a certain small number of losses.

Just to make a few points....not defending either side, just wanted to say:

-Snakes are specifically prohibited via UPS - but allowed for some people. I'm sure with little effort, I could count off a dozen well known breeders/dealers that use UPS exclusively. I could probably do two dozen within 15 minutes, if I were to include some less recognized names.
-Exotic Reptiles Jungle is hardly a new entity (though the site has been redone).
-They are also not the only seller that only guarantees live arrival via Delta.
-I'm not touching the labeling of CH BPs, lol....you guys can fight that out amongst yourselves.

Agian, we do not guarantee live arrival with Door to door shippers,because they only cover shipping cost if it arrives late, not the cost of the animals. To aviod any confusion we simpley will not guarantee live arrival on door to door. Its not because of how we pack and ship, trust me we have be doing this for 16 years.

Ok, the website lists a pair of Super Stripers, which sounds like Super Stripe, which is what I read the first time I saw the listing. We all know, there ARE genetic Super Stripes, which of course, these snakes are not. If you need to use trickery in your ads.....

I also see listing your "Faith" link as trying too hard. Evertime I see "Gob Bless" or something similar on ads, it just looks phoney, and like someone is trying to hard to be legit. I cannot count how many times I see the ole religious bumper sticker on a car that just cut me off, is driving too slow in the fast lane, and the driver gives you the finger when you finally pass them on the right.....

So here is my religious plea, for the love of God, when will someone actually post CH ads as CH animals whose genetics are not understood, and if you buy one, you are taking a gamble? I see Indian Casino after Indian Casino down here in CA, so we are a State and probably a Country of gamblers, why not be totally upfront?
