    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Since Foo, my Suri female, turned out not to be gravid this spring/summer, we started handling her more often (she was adopted last October but had been bred and showed signs of being gravid).

It turns out that she has an outstanding personality, so we decided to take her to a demo at a local nature preserve that our local Herp Society was attending.

Foo did a great job and was a big hit... here's a picture of her being pet by some kids. This was the first demonstration kind of event that my husband and I have attended and it was a lot of fun. Most people had a great attitude (only one lady yanked her grandchild away when she realized there were snakes present, and that was from 20 feet away... sigh) and many people were curious and asked a lot of questions.

It also helped that she had shed two days before, so looked great.

Thank you! Thank you for contributing positively to our hobby, community and way of life! We need more people willing to take time out of a busy schedule to educate the ignorant masses. This is the type of thing that needs media publicity....not the guy that stuck a snake in his mouth and got bitten.

Keep up the great work, and beautiful snake!

My big albino girl used to play that role too. Can't wait till i can take her out like that some more. It's cool when the kids come with all their questions. Some can ask some doosies too.

Nice looking girl. Sorry she didn't take for you. Better luck next time. She's a really pretty girl.
