an assistant DA attempting to explain morphs to a jury! I dont think so. Thats a lost cause. It can easily be construed as bad luck on a first batch.

That is the whole purpose of an expert witness.

Now to something else I still cannot figure out. How he did it.

From what I have read he was fairly new in the rep biz, gained a following through Fauna that apparently went to bat for him when someone said hey this is fishy.

Now this guy is caught, but does any one know for sure how he was able to pull this off. If he could do it can someone else do it as well? There is alot of smart people that are heavily involved on fauna and can spot scams really quick. Is there any info that can be compiled to help spot scammers like this.

This is the way I see it, and I am going to use myself for example. I have been buying burms to breed, I now have a male albino green from siegel, a female albino burm from Mrs. Ambrose and a normal female who I have no clue who the original breeder was. We are planning on buying more in Daytona and getting a granite and some normal females. Now what am I supposed to do with the hets. I am new at this, my customers who come in the shop will know what I have. But how am I going to be able to prove this to the online community. I am sitting here wondering if I am going to get listed with this knucklehead that started all this. All it will take is one het not to prove out first breeding.

Right now I will buy a het from Siegel, NERD, Bill & Amy etc. but John Doe from Dixville TN will not have a chance. Why? Because of this whole TSE scam, I don't want to fall victim to something like this. This will stink up the reptile community for years to come and make it harder for honest beginners to "break" into the morph game.

Well this is my opinion, I don't think I am the only one who is aware of this not wondering the same thing

You seem clueless about the animals Chris was selling. Do you mean to suggest that you never viewed his webpage to actually see what he was offering for sale? Do you mean to suggest, that long after he dissapeared and left you and your kid high & dry, left animals to die directly below your apartment causing authorities to come to your home and question you, that curiosity did not get the better of you to view his webpage that was left up and running to see what he was selling?

Chuck said it a little differently than most would have, but please excuse the skepticism on some of our parts. Chris burned a lot of people and by doing so hurt the reptile community pretty badly. He was lying from the very beginning. I'm sure all of us are hoping you're exactly who you say you are. Your close connection to Chris makes trust a little difficult to come by. So please bare with those that press you on some issues even it may appear offensive to you. Everyone involved with this thread is interested in your input.

Pat/Chris/Glenn/Sybil referred to a wife and his daughter NUMEROUS times in emails to me. Of course you were basically always used in reference to an excuse by Pat/Glenn/Sybil. It always went something like this "We do not have a camera/Disc/answer, it(he) is at our owers HOUSE, and we left a message with his DAUGHTER AND WIFE".

Also as far as your connection. It was your apartment number listed many times with previous deals, shipping labels and business location from the internet. So it may not be your fault but you did allow him to run his scam from your residence. Does any one else remember that Jenna (ex) told someone from here that Chris was at his facility (WorkTSE). Now she knows so little of his business?!?!?!?!?!?!

You say you feel sorry for Chris. You shouldn't. This was not an accident.

We can only hope this follows him his entire life.

the idea of having an expert testify, its not going to happen. Nor will any deposition that relates to eggs not producing the morphs that one paid for. this is about paying and not receiving. Its very simple.

People get duped everyday. Materials are shoddy, workmanship not up to par, the roof still leaks, and these businesses either change their name, go out of business or surface in another state. But taking money under false pretenses is another matter.

Secondly, who do you think the state would hire and pay as an "expert" to testify? , They dont have to if Det Brown has enough on Chris.

With regard to a "stent" , I have 1 and it does alter your life substantially. You can also forget about him running down the block. Thats not going to happen either. So you can imagine how 2 stents will slow you down. I am sure if Jenna is telling the truth, he is on a maintanance drug program that not only involves a variety of heart related pills but a blood thinner as well. So he cannot afford to bleed ! Because he may not stop!

If surgery at that age is inevitable due to a heredity factor, then he may be self-inflicting his own demise, and not caring about the outcome. Stranger things have happened.

Roughly the same time that "jenna" popped up to post last night, detective brown also was logged on and reading this thread. I know this was already addressed, but has anyone actually confirmed that there is indeed a detective brown with the nypd that's actually working this case? At first glance I'm inclined to call bullshit on "jenna" too..but I'm still getting whiffs of it from other directions also.
