What about Alex Hue? He seemed to have quite a bit of contact with Chris during the Mack Snow fiasco. I guess he never met him, either? Alex has been pretty absent in this thread, from what I can tell. (When you see this, Alex, I'm not accusing or attacking you, just looking to see if anyone knows your actual relationship.)
Excellent question, Rob. Curious that Alex has not posted, but perhaps he doesn't want to get involved. I have no proof, but I have a couple people tell me "off the record" that Chris was getting a lot of ch balls from Mr. Hue. So it would be nice if Alex would come here and either confirm or deny that.
I've been in and out quite a bit over the past year or two, but didn't Chris have the ball python morphs on sale before he started buying up a lot of high-end leopard geckos? It seemed that way to me, but I haven't searched the threads to find out.

Trader ratings, and more particularly, a GGC vote of something like 61-1. I can probably understand legitimate trader ratings based on one good deal, and am one who believes Chris actively solicited them, if not also padded them back when it was easier to do. But the ease with which some of you decided Chris rated your vote as a "Good Guy" baffles me.
In my case, he purchased geckos from me on two seperate occasions, he didn't try to "haggle" me on the price (which was nice) and he sent payment immediately. I give positive trader ratings for good customers as well as good breeders/sellers.
As far as what Lucille brought up about the
Hayden Fund auctions, what happened was that some of my friends here on Fauna were in chat the night of my son's death, and they wanted to do whatever they could to help me. Lucille was emailed or pm'ed and said she would rather not hold the auctions on Fauna, since the money raised would be helping someone other than Rich, or Fauna. When Rich was emailed/pm'd, he said that was Lucille's forum so it was up to her. Well, Chris came forward and said to heck with it, he would put up the Hayden Fund auctions on the TSE Forum, which he did. It was at that point that Rich/Lucille? became upset that Chris held some of the auctions on his forum.
Why I have no idea. Why in the world would it make any difference where the auctions were held or if they were held on both forums? For the life of me I will never understand that, but I guess it doesn't matter if I do. I really do wish that people would stop putting such a negative spin on the Hayden Fund Auctions, it really is hurtful to me and my husband because those auctions and the contributions from all the wonderful people in the reptile community made me realize that people really do care. The money donated made it possible for me to continue on with my geckos, but even more than that was just the fact that it brought a little light into a very dark time, and it gave me a small bit of hope.
Ok, just wanted to clear that up about the Hayden Fund auctions and Chris' involvement, which truthfully was appreciated by me and always will be.
