In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Want to start a life? Hatch your own tortoise. It’s egg laying season for some species. To get on the waiting list please email me. [email protected]. Prices vary depending on species. Russians, greeks, Hermann’s & sulcata’s. They are delivered to your door step, you place them in your incubator and you personally get to incubate and hatch your own pet tortoise.

How do you compensate for temperature spikes during shipping?

How do you compensate for eggs being turned 100+ times during shipping and embryo drowning?

Eggs are shipping within 48 hours of being laid. Which is why getting on the wait list guarantees you an egg when they are laid. I don’t have time to go through my contacts and reply to everyone who was interested. If you’re on the wait list, you get the eggs shipped within 48 hours. Most likely same day as they are shipped the same day as they are laid. Within that time frame the egg can take a little beating. I package the eggs in a way that they should arrive unharmed. My liability and warranties can be found on my website tortstork.com. But to answer your question, there is no guarantee. There is risk to this. You have to be committed to the idea and truly want to hatch your own tortoise. If you’re just doing it just to do it, this isn’t for you. Trust me when I say this works. Please visit the website, hopefully there will answer more of your questions. If they don’t, please email me [email protected]. Please do not turn this thread into a bash thread. If you don’t think this works or you’re the type who needs to voice their opinion, I would love to hear it, just please do it via email. Thanks.

I am gonna call B...S... on this......you can't just say email me with your opinion, people who have less experience need to be educated as to the risks. Even under optimal conditions 100% of the eggs will not hatch and now you want to introduce additional stressors like fluctuating temperatures and the shipping box being thrown around during transit. You simply just want to get paid for every egg laid, duds included.

Jason, i apppreciate your enthusiasm to voice your opinion, people like you take full advantage of hiding behind a computer screen. I’m very passionate about tortoise breeding. If you visit my website you would know that. I providing an opportunity for people who want to hatch their own tortoise without having to invest in a breeding colony. This option clearly is not for someone like you. I have a bunch of customers who love this. Especially teachers. Anyone who reaches out to me is coached from start to finish with the process. I’m not a douche bag looking to get paid. I’m here to make dreams come true for those who don’t have the opportunity.

Miguel, do your research. You clearly have zero idea what you’re talking about. Come visit my website tortstork.com and then tell me if this is a scam. In the meantime, scroll to the top of the classifieds, I’m a sponsor. If this was a scam, do you think I would be exposing myself. But keep up the hating, love people like you, you make me laugh at how uneducated people can be prior to assuming something they clearly have zero clue about. Thank you for giving me the fuel to succeed and laugh, I appreciate it.

Scam, clearly this is a scam.

If you think it is a scam, take it to the BOI. I’m sure there are risks but people ship eggs all the time, I’ve shipped chameleon eggs and had them hatch.

I’ve never had any dealings with anyone on this thread, so I’m not taking sides. You are just going about it in the wrong manner.

Randy, the fact you wont guarantee the eggs is why your offer should be a huge red flag for not purchasing. Also the fact you're willing to put these eggs through the stress of shipping is extremely irresponsible even if you were giving them away for free. Only a complete novice/amateur who is ignorant on all aspects of reptile husbandry would consider your offer. Almost all reptile enthusiast with a minimum of knowledge will avoid your offer because like myself know that it's ill advised to ship any type of eggs during incubation.

If you Know Randy you know non of these accusations are true. please visit Tortstork.com. I believe in what Randy is doing and think its amazing. If you don't keep moving its as easy as that.

I mean I’ve had chameleon eggs shipped to me and after a very long wait they did hatch. It was from someone in the same state as me so idk if that made a difference.
... I was skeptical and just wanted to give it a try. 🤷🏻♂️I’m not saying this is safe and that this isn’t a scam. But I think it is possible to get it shipped and still have them hatch. 🤷🏻♂️

It’s a great idea, to see how them hatching. I totally love this idea , the only thing is If you sure it’s going to hatch within 48hour , why don’t you guarantee it.

Ninja, you misread the ad, he ships out the eggs within 48 hours of them being laid and so their is no way to even tell if they are fertile.......very sketchy to me

Robert Potts, I’d love to take you out for a beer some time and teach you about tortoise breeding. Maybe even teach you a thing or two about how to properly run a successful business. And I would even throw in a free lesson on how to follow directions. I’m not shipping eggs during incubation. I’m shipping them within 48 hours, in the first 48 hours they can be moved, in fact, we could have a catch with them and they will still be fine. I package them in a special way that prevents them from breaking. The risk is whether they are fertile or not fertile. The process has been tested and proven. Since I’m on the subject of proving you wrong, I have had some well known tortoise breeders take advantage of this opportunity out of curiosity, and it has worked for them.

I challenge you to find a way to make someone’s dream come true. I’ll help you brain storm if you want, I’m a nice guy like that.

Let me know when you can get a beer, I travel to Florida often, I’ll make sure we go to a bar that serves Michelob ultra, so you can enjoy your choice of drink. In the interim, visit my website, enjoy it, watch some YouTube videos on tortstork. Smile today, you deserve it.

Thanks. I don’t guarantee because there is no way of knowing if the egg is fertile. The time when it starts to chalk and become fertile, it’s way too late to ship bc tortoise eggs attach to the inner membrane near the air sac and if that ruptures the embryo dies. So I have to ship them within 48 hours before they start to develop. It’s a risk, I’m the first one to admit that. This is for people who are willing to take the risk. I’m not trying to fool anyone. Do some research on tortstork, don’t only listen to the haters. Though you should listen to them a little, everyone needs some conspiracy in their life to make the truth that much better.

Randy with tortstork is a good breeder and have been doing this for years. Its a cool way to hatch out your own tortoise.
