    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wanted to share a couple pics of the tort table I slapped together for these hatchling sulcatas.

Here is pretty much everything I used to make it:
- The table was built on top of an old metal cart on wheels that originally came with a rabbit/ferret enclosure.
- 2' x 4' section of plywood for the floor
- 1 x 6's of Aspen for the walls
- The overhang/shelf with the supplements on it is also a section of 1 x 6. Only I used velcro to secure it so it can be easily removed for cleaning or design changes.
- Got a 100 watt Powersun UV, a 100 watt CHE on a dimmer for supplemental heat in the day and to maintain a good night time temp, as well as a Reptisun 10.0
- The substrate is a mix of things. At one end is a bed a beast/sterile top soil mixture about 4 inches deep, part of the middle region is Arizona sandstone, also in the middle is their food. I grow several trays of a a grasses and clovers mixture like that and swap them out as needed. At the other end is the water dish, surrounded by ceramic tile to help prevent excess moisture or mold. We also got some stone pathways along the sides. I literally laid down some soil mixture and embedded the stones to create a type of stone path.

Hopefully I get a year out of this table. I enjoy being able to wheel the whole unit around the house and keep these little boogers in what ever room we are in at the time. It really allows us to spend more time with the curious little boogers.

Very very nice, I am guessing that one of the domes has a Mercury Vapor UVB bulb?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwsome! :)

I wish I could build things (can't hammer a nail straight).

Has any one thought of writing a book explaining in detail how to build things (english 101 for the 5 thumbed people)?
