    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

april, 2011 toucan jungle advertised its 4-5" aldabra torts, I sent Chris 3090. for two plus shipping, after I sent $ he said they will be in shortly(never said he didnt have them yet). shortly turned into six months. I got fed up and asked for $ back. A month later he sent 1000. of it(alot of excuses). after many e-mails he finally sent another 1500 in April of 2012 leaving a balance of 590. After asking for the rest, he claimed he "thought we where even". Now he claims he sent it to my "other paypal acc."
After daily e-mails he only responded to one saying daily reminders dont help!
Some may have positive experiences, great because this is true and it could happen to you!This is going on for 16 months!:angry:
 
Please post any emails, screenshots, or other proof you may have to help back your claim.
Anything you have will help add support to your statement.
(I'm not disputing your claim, BTW)
 
hello, finally filed a police report today(along with all my documents) and filed a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I can e-mail the case I.D. #'s to anyone who wants to buy from Chris before they send the $
 
Why don't you post your documents here? so we can all see for ourselves what he did?
 
the documents are where there supposed to be now, not trying to convince anyone, just warning everyone. Funny, just heard from him asking if he sent a tort to me instead of the 590. lets see his shipping documents of a tort arriving at my house!
 
That's not how the BOI essentially works, a thread isn't strengthened by just the word of the OP. Proof is not mandatory but it is highly recogmended because just the word of the poster will not hold much weight with the community. Just my Two cents, if you can't be bothered to post your proof alot of people wont be bothered to take your warning seriously

I was just in San Diego and he had aldabra's at that size or close to it. Perhaps you could work out a deal for two of them and do an internet escrow hold on the funds until he ships. Just a thought. I can't tell you much about internet escrow so I am just thinking "out loud"

not in my hands anymore, nobody has to take it seriously unless considering buying from him, then use own judgement
as far as the ones he has now, hah thats the ones I paid for 16 months ago that finally arrived, like I said not in my hands any longer

not only does he owe me and god only knows how many other people money, but he owes those torts he's trying to sell some better temp. husbandry conditions
 
Mike paid me 3090.00, changed his mind about wanting tortoise because he said he needed the money... oh well... I sent him back 2500.00, said he would take 5 baby leopards for balance, I thought we squared the deal off. with all my divorce mess going on maybe not.
My attorney asked me to have him email me a Paypal money request stating what the 590.00 was for but he hasn't done it...
PS: left my wife for my kids sake, I gave her everything!!
anything else is just BS...
I have over 90 Aldabra tortoises in stock as of today. come buy one so I can give Mike his money if he ever sends me a paypal money request ( stating what its for only )

not my problem Chris, everyone, I sent Chris the pay-pal request as per his attorneys request today at 4:30. I will let everyone know when he pays me the money. Called him before I sent the request and he hung up on me!!
PS changed my mind after 6 months!! this all started in april of 2011!!!!!
