• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Toxicodryas Pulverulenta (Not Boiga, Taxonomic Classifiers have corrected that over 25 years ago)common name Fischers Cat Snake, African Powdery Tree Snake (my preferred). These snakes are usually a gold/yellow/brown to brown/gray with some pink undertones depending on sex. This is pair is a Cameroon locality and the females are a pink orange with faint gray black patterning and the males are a gray with faint black patterning and pink belly which I will add pic of soon. They are much different than the ones commonly imported from Northwest Africa. Dont let pic fool you female is about 4 feet long! wish I could post video of to show. male is about half length and thickness. If all goes planned hatchlings next year

Do not confuse this with boiga they have different care requirements, Different humidity requirements and very different temperature requirements than boiga. They also display extreme sexual dimorphisms that are not present in any species of boiga as well as a ROUND PUPIL (so why they are called cat snakes at all is a bit misleading). They are so unique they have been classified under 4 different genus since they have been discovered. I even think they should be separated from blandingii due to significant differences in bone structure and pupil shape.

Btw Came from Kristen at Fascination Herp in October of 2020 and she had them for a few months herself if I'm not mistaken so they are super established.
