    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

No decent seller will get offended by a respectful query. Just be polite. Anything like "Any chance you happen to have any previous buyers I can chat with or get pictures of the hets you sold them last year?" Etc. You can even be really humbly honest and tell them you're scared of getting ripped off.

There are super reputable breeders on here that even welcome it, or put links to their positive BOI threads in their ads. Never be afraid to ask. It's dark days we live in now.

And if you come across any seller that gets offended, rude, or acts like a horse's hind end when you ask about a reference ... run. Fast and far.

I have spoken to him and he is a really nice guy and has answered every question promptly and courteously. It has put my mind at ease with him as a seller.
