Don't get me wrong, I don't think this is "BS" but I couldn't find a more apropriate forum for this type of post. If there is a better place for it, I hope the mods can work that out. If it isn't welcome at all, and needs to be deleted, I can understand that as well.
In a couple weeks (April 16th,17th, and 18th) My 4 year old daughter Davey will be participating in a fund raiser for St. Judes Childrens research hospital. For those of you who don't know, St. Judes is a research hospital that deals mainly in the treatment of kids with cancer(FREE OF CHARGE).
Each year my boss donates a whole house of plumbing (parts and labor) for a house that is then raffled off, and all of the money raised goes to the hospital.
Anyway, At Davey's preschool kids will be riding tricycles around in circles earning money for this very important cause. Those who wish to donate can pledge money for each lap is made, or a flat pledge can be made. I made a flat pledge because the teachers mentioned that it would be kind of hard to count laps made by 26 kids on tricycles.
I am trying to think of the best way to take pledges for those here who would like to help out. Would it be best to have checks sent to me (made out to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital) and turn them all in at once? Or would it be better to have them sent straight to her presschool, made out to St. Judes, with a note mentioning that the donation is a sponsorship pledge for Davey?
