    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Three adult Yellow ackie's

I am selling my trio of yellow ackie's $1200obo, this includes 1 male and 2 females. They are all feeding well on dubias, cricket's, mealworms, grub pie, occasional egg and anything else I put in the cage. They are frequently dusted with multi vitamins and D3. Their enclosure uses a MVB and they are atop a substrate made of coconut fiber, sand, sphagnum moss, sand and soil with plenty of hiding spots. I have only had the first male and female since late 2016 and introduced the 2nd female this past summer. They get along well with each other just the occasional nip of the tail by the male but generally seem to ignore each other. I have no experience breeding monitor's which was my intention when I purchased them but the male seems interested, the females do not seem ready but hopefully will in the coming spring.

Pic 1) Male - This big guy is my most vigorous eater by tongs or hand. He is also the most curious and enjoys being handled more so than the females. He has beautiful deep red background when not shedding, in perfect condition and very personable.

Pic 2) First Female - This young lady is the most shy of the bunch, she comes out most often when the other 2 are in hiding. She eats well and can be handled quite easily as long as you keep in mind she can be very fast, she has never gotten away from me when out but will jerk sometimes indicating to me that she might make a run for it. She will tong feed but enjoys chasing moving food mostly.

Pic 3) Second Female - This girl is a year older than the other two. I purchased her in hopes that with another female around my first one may settle down and be more willing to breed. She is missing a front arm, as I received her but is in otherwise great health just needs the occasional bath because she does not shed as well as the other two. She is also a very vigorous eater like my male, maybe even more so. She will eat from tong's, by hand or by dropping food in the enclosure. She does not like being handled by humans as much as the other two but has come a long way from when I first got her, she enjoys a back rub and you can pick her up but she did try to nip me once.

Sold as a group only for $1200 obo plus shipping, can ship to anywhere within the continental United via overnight delivery. Live arrival guaranteed.
