In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I am setting up my first garter tank and would like 2 or three male garters to put in it, but I would like the garters to be different subspecies and morphs of Thamnophis sirtalis who are a year or younger.

These are the types I am interested in:

  • Florida Blue Striped (Thamnophis sirtalis similis)
  • Puget Sound (Thamnophis sirtalis pickeringi)
    • Blue
    • Red
  • Eastern Morphs (Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis)
    • Flames
    • Snow

I have a strong preference for a Flame and Florida Blue duo, but really anything with a flame is good.

Edit: Please tell me prices when you message.

Edit 2: San Fran removed cause apparently, you can no longer own them.

Pugets are protected in their range so you’ll have to find someone who had them before their range became protected which is difficult (not impossible). San Frans are illegal to own period.

Generally protected. You can get a collection and propagation permit to rehabilitate them in captivity. This is for Puget, not sf
