    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Truth about Andrew Gilpin -Bad Guy

I feel I need to totally defend Andrew here. I have bought 3geckos from him each and everyone of them nothing less then perfect. His prices are more than reasonable and He works with Allen Repashy who is one of the major suppliers to Petco. So if he wanted a nice(Petco) baby all he would have to do is ask Allen. None of this makes the least bit of sense. Andrew is one of the most honest people I have ever known. For anyone reading this...I don't have any idea who this Toto is but I can guarantee you he is nothing more than someone who is totally bored out of his mind and has nothing better to do with his time then try to discredit honest hard working people like Andrew.Just because...Let me tell you a little about Andrew. I was buying the first Gecko from him and then noticed a second I wanted but didn't have the money for right then I told Andrew I would be getting the second one in a few weeks....Do you know what he did...He sent me the second one along with the first one so that I would not have to pay shipping twice and told me I could pay him for the gecko when I had the money. I'm sorry but I fail to see where in his character anyone could possibly see a scammer.Toto, all I can say to you is Grow up. If you thought 250 was too much why did you pay it. I somehow doubt you bought anything from Andrew.

My mouth literally dropped open when my very good friend- Robin (see above post from nydrgnldy) called me about told me about this thread

I have been in contact with her during the whole time that she purchased from Andrew and she has done nothing bit rave about this man and his willingness to go the extra mile to help anyone with the purchase of one of his or one of Allen's geckos

She has had nothing but good things to say (and the pics of the animals that she has shared with me-back this up 100%) about the Crestie's that she did purchase from hin and any questions that she did email Andrew about them were promtly answered by him

I am in the middle of a deal with Andrew/Allen for 2 leachianius females and I have been having some financial problems (nothing new there) and Andrew has gone out of his way to extend the current deadline for the final payment for them

His e-mails to me have been nothing but helpful-heck-he even went out of his way to arrange the payments for me in the first place so that I could afford to purchase the 2 leachies-which are a longtime gecko dream for me

I just cannot imagine that this ridiculous BS is anything but pure BS
Someone with nothing better to do than slander a good mans name

Andrew is one of the most willing people that I can think of that would work out any problems that you might have concerning a purchase-if indeed there was a purchase that you made from him

Andrew says that there was no purchase made and I believe him

I don't know who the other people in this thread are hinting at that you might actually be-but if you are hiding behind and anonymous user name-you will be found out

People here are very good at that sort of thing
Believe me-this will backfire right in your face

Oh brother, ariel, this is a new low even for you! Accusing a reputable breeder of the exact same shady business practices you engage in won't tarnish his well-earned stellar reputation. Please crawl back into your hole and stay there, won't you? They say a man never checks under the bed unless he's been there himself, if you get my drift.
 
Now Terri, I know you just said what everyone is thinking, and quite a few people implied, but don't stoop to the level of the one you accuse. Andrew rep is obviously fine by the replies in this thread, and the OP look like a jerk. Lets let this one die, and see if they have the stupidity to post again.
 
I had the same suspicions, but I didn't want to say anything without definite proof. I do back up your ideas though Terri. I compared the two IP addresses and they aren't the same, although that only means he didn't post from the same place.
 
I think Josh's claim is totally false. I have also delt with Andrew and Sarah and I feel very confortable dealing with them so much that I keep buying cresteds from them (now have 3 of theirs). Their geckos are amazing and I see no point in them buying a gecko from petco to turn around and sell it themselves. Also the fact that this Josh character has not repsonded to anything since the first post makes him seem pretty false.

Andrew's defense looks pretty solid, and for good reason. Still, I thought I ought to share my own experience with him. I've had a trade transaction involving four crested geckos and made a purchase of a Rhacodactylus chahoua from Andrew and never had a single problem with him or his business practices. Everything was honestly represented and priced very well. I've even had better experience dealing with Andrew than a certain other Rhacodactylus breeder who is probably one of the largest in the country. I absolutely would not hesitate to deal with Andrew again (and I'm frequently tempted to).

We want to sincerely thank every single person who has posted in this thread in support of our business practices and the animals we produce.
We hope others looking to do business with us in the future are able to get past the first page of this thread, and are able to realize that this 'Toto' person is a person of fiction. We think it is quite obvious that we have never done any business with this person named ' Josh Harnett'. We have a very good idea who the thread creator actually is.... and these suspicions are only reinforced by many posting in this thread. The user 'Toto' created their account yesterday ( 7/12) and have only been active on the site for a period of about 12 minutes to create this thread as of todays date.
Once again, thanks for all of the comments regarding us as helpful and professional business people, they are greatly appreciated!

Andrew and Sara are some of the nicest people I know. While I have never purchased anything from Andrew (one day man ;) ) I had the pleasure to meet Andrew and Sara last October for the Gecko Symposium/Tinley Park Show. Andrew and Sara went out of there way to pick me up from the airport as well as drop me off.

Andrew also spent an hour or more one night helping me figure out my camera (he knows how to take some insane photos).

His (and Sara's) geckos are some of the nicest out there and they do an awesome job representing their animals as well as providing help to everyone who needs it.

Everyone who's plugged into the Rhacodactylus scene knows that Andrew is one of the best guys out there. I don't know who you are or what you think you're trying to pull, but I hope you contract herpes and every other STD out there just for making this post.
 
I just wanted to say I have also delt with Andrew and he is a great guy with great animals. I would not hesitate one bit to do business with him again. Andrew keep up the good work and by the way my cresties are doing great!!
