    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm making some rat and mouse racks soon since my collection is growing and it's tons cheaper to breed rats than buy them every week. I just had some questions. What size tubs would be good for mice? I want to do groups of 1:5 or so. What size mesh would be good for the rats and mice? I read 1/2 inch is used for rats but would a smaller one be ok since I don't feed lab block? They get iams dog food mixed with whole oats and other grains at the moment. I think the grains would fall through to much with the 1/2.

Thank you! And I can't get lab block here so I make my own. I only found one store that would special order it but they want over 30 a bag. They get a 1:2 mix of dye free iams puppy food with whole oats and a mix of other grains, no corn or alfalfa which i read they can't digest well. They have a vitamin supplement mixed in to. They also get table scraps and fresh veggies every couple of days.

I just got an order this week from Mazuri for 2 bags at 50 lbs. each of lab blocks for a total of $63.27.
I used to have to drive 2 hours away to Illinois because I too could not find it where I live.
I'm very glad that I did!!!!
