    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tubs

These are 36 x 20...

Sweet, I didnt know they carried the ol school style hides... I havent been able to find those things anywhere...

They dont change there models that quick. Even if I get 3 years of them living in them thats good for me and I wont mind building a new rack. If I produce babies with a rack its completely worth it to me and I would have already got my money back plus much more and I could build a new rack and still have money for the rest of things I would want.

I think I will..... I guess that would bother you, huh? Wasting your time building snake racks........ Whatever my snakes need they get doesnt matter if I have to spend $1000 or 3 days on and off building racks. I guess it just matters if somones lazy or they dont mind spending time for there snakes.......

Which is it junior? Less money for the rubbermaids or not mattering if you have to spend $1000?

I've been doing this longer than your insignificant self has been alive.

Why spend the extra money when rubbermaids are pretty much the same? Do you expect me to care how long you have been dealing with reptiles? You could have been dealing with them for 20 yrs and you still might not give them good care! A 19 year old can have more reptile then a 40 year old (Not necessarily your age) and also have higher rated animals (morphs) if your saying they cant.

I spend the extra money because the Iris tubs are actually sealed with an oil that makes them much easier to keep clean than rubbermaids. I am sure that anyone keeping reptiles can appreciate the value of a easier to clean cage. In my opinion they are way worth the extra money just due to the fact that the urates and feces don't stick to them. I've used rubbermaids before and always went nuts scrapping stuff out of the corner with screw drivers, spoons, brillo, and whatever else I could get in there.

I think that unless you've used both, it's hard to make a judgement about which has the better value.

I have spent a few hours cleaning poop off rubbermaids myself..lol.. It really sucks.. I use rubbermaids myself just because that is what my AP racks call for.. But yeah if somethign will save me an extra 3-10 min on a cage Ill take it... 3x 75 is?lol..

So I broke down and ordered an AP rack (900 series). The tubs dont come with it. Do I break down and spend the $20+ per for the ones that it is made for or do i spend $10 each and get the CB-70s? Difference is that there will be a 1/4 inch gap at the top and they are 2.5" shorter than the ones i am supposed to get. Is a 1/4 inch that much to worry about?

Jamie, I woul dsay go ahead if it is adult females.. Now anythign smaller than yeah they will be gone the second time you open the tub....
