Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No. Trial isn't scheduled until August. If you read the motion, Ty's attorney has stated that there is plenty of time for Ty to find a new attorney and for that attorney to get up to speed on the case.

Here is someone who has a positive review of Ty. There is no doubt that if the story told is true, that the replacement lizard was a generous gift.
However, that still leaves readers with a choice, whether they would do business with Ty after reading this thread.

I would not. Others must make their own decisions.
 
As Lucille said, if this story is true I can't help but note that the reviewer appears to be male. That might be completely irrelevant but it also might not.
 
I do not think you have established any link that shows that gender may be an issue. I don't think it is. However, truth is an issue and it does seem that in a recent thread readers might feel at times that this particular review struggles with the truth.

Oh he does that generosity stuff all the time, usually I see it in Green Iguana Groups on Facebook, he'll just offer to comp people greens after a loss, makes him look all philanthropic.

updates over the last month:
5/25 Mediation occurred, no agreement was made.

5/30 Michelle's lawyer made their first request for documents and admissions, amended the complaint and responded to Ty's lawyer request to withdrawal. ( if you're going to read documents, choose these)

6/4 Ty's Lawyer was allowed to withdrawal.
 
another update:

Ty is still representing himself, he was supposed to comply with the case management order from April 4th by submitting his exhibit list to opposing council by May 31st and also failed to submit his witness list to opposing council by June 30th.

In response, on 7/10/18, Michelle's lawyer filed a motion to have the court enforce the agreed upon case management plan and pay the legal fees associated with the motions submittal.

From yesterdays Hearing, An Order to Show Cause (plaintiff) was entered:

ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Plaintiff, Taesoon Park SHALL appear before
the Honorable Lisa S. Porter on July 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., to show cause for failure to
appear at the hearing on July 16,2018 and for failing to comply with the Court's Trial Order entered on April 2, 2018. If Plaintiff fails to appear at the Order to Show Cause hearing, the Plaintiff's claim shall be dismissed and the case will go forward on Defendant's counterclaim.

Ty didn't show and is still listed as representing himself
Ty claims to have hired a new lawyer but hasn't provided the lawyers info to anyone, including the court. (where this info came from IDK)
Ty is not responding to Michelle's lawyers emails.

Someone is shooting themselves in the foot.
 
I need to note something that weighs on my mind when I do the updates.

I believe that there is every right for this board to know the proceedings, but the case is one based on this forum/post and Ty's business relationship. Many of the comments that get made in this thread following my updates are making Ty's case that this post has hurt his business. As the case proceeds, it is very likely the judge will conduct their own research and read a majority of this thread. As such, I urge everyone to be mindful of their comments, they have the very real potential, in my opinion, to affect the outcome.
