In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ty park/ ty lizards FL

From what I can find he died 4 years ago but in 2007 his status with the bar association was suspended for doing shady real estate deals with someone who was suspended. I found the court documents but it's 35 pages and not really relevant so I won't post them. From what I understand ty made his money buying and selling real estate.

That IP address actually resolves to Ecuador, Guayas, Playas.

Playas is very near the Seminario Park in Guayaquil, a famous iguana park. Several mentions have been made of Ty's frequent vacations, could he have been visiting there?

The alleged attorney's phone number is a Florida number. However, I could not find Gabe (Gabriel) Martinez in the Florida Bar.
Should anyone care to, is there someone else who can double check the existence (or non-existence) of an attorney, in Florida, by the name of Gabriel (Gabe) Martinez?

Gabe Martinez and Gabe Skaff (Lizard101). What a funny coincidence of names.

I just called that number listed as the attorney's number. A VM picked up the line.. And it was a man that sounded JUST like Ty Parks on the VM. Weird indeed.

Your comments are very strong, and you should have factual proof of your allegations against Mr. Park. If you have a case pending in court, it is the judge, not you, who has the ultimate decision in the matter. Mr. Park is a well respected person in the United States, He donates thousands of dollars to organizations that take care of iguanas and lizards. He runs a non-profit organization, so raffle is legal. making false accusations against any person publicly is a crime. If he finds out about your postings on this site, he has all the right under the law to suit you. You shouldn't be using this site for insulting people publicly. For you people, making adverse comments against Mr. Park, without knowing the other side of the story is wrong.

Interestingly, this registration has the pm and email function. I sent the following email to Gabe/Lizard101:

I'm continuing to send links to government entities in Florida, Arizona, and California, I started doing this a week ago. Tomorrow I plan to start sending links to this thread to newspapers in those states.
I believe Michelle should have received her advertised prize.
I plan to see how many people agree with me.

I wrote a letter to the IRCF asking for my prize.
Here is the letter that the IRCF responded with this and a $400 check

I feel cheated, lied to , deceived and i do not believe that this is an appropriate solution to this whole fiasco.
Although I don't know who is on the hook for this
The IRCF received $14,510 from this raffle.
And they (ty and them think it's ok to reimburse me for the raffle tickets purchaced when I was promised either an albino tegu OR $3,000. I'm sorry but it just doesn't sit right with me so.....,
I'm just gonna leave this here.

They sent you a check for $400? I am no lawyer but I believe if you cash it you are accepting it as IS. It's a settlement. Did I read it wrong?

Amanda, I (in a pm) and everyone else already told her not to cash it.

Here is their letter to me

I feel that the costs and ordeals involved in actually receiving either the $3,000 or the tegu may be too much. At this point, it might be wise just to take the $400 and leave the issue in the past. Ty is clearly in the wrong, and this thread has certainly exposed his true character, but maybe settling on getting your money back is easier, and less time consuming and stressful. Just my $0.02

I respectfully disagree and feel there is NO WAY Michelle should even dream of capitulation at this stage after all she has been through and done so far.
You hang in there girl!
Both Ty and the IRCF are in the wrong, of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

I'm not quite sure that the IRCF is in the wrong. It seems like they were kinda dragged into this simply by being the beneficiary of the raffle. The only way that they could help would be to give an albino tegu to Michelle, because the $3,000 was offered on Ty's part, and was to come from his personal funds.

I definitely understand your opinion, Kevin, and honestly, if I were in her place, I'm not sure what I would end up doing, there are so many factors to consider. I agree though that Michelle should stay strong, no matter what course of action she takes.

After reading your post Amanda, I called the number again myself, I also got voice mail, and not that it matters, I've had numerous lengthy phone conversations with Ty, and that's definitely not his voice, on that message.

Michelle, keep your head up, stay diligent, and you'll come out on top, we're all pulling for you!

Actually if you read through the thread, there is quite a legal sticky area here. If ICRF is RUNNING the raffle, then they are responsible for distributing the prizes. If Mr. Park was running the raffle on ICRF's BEHALF, he's actually not legally allowed to do that unless he's legally an owner/member of the charity organization. If he was running a raffle all on his own just to give the PROCEEDS to ICRF, then the fact remains that he's actually not legally allowed to run a raffle as a for-profit business, since it is not apparent where and what 501(c)3 organization he directs, and ICRF finds themselves in a sticky situation of being associated with a less-than-legal raffle, involving themselves in it directly by publicly drawing the winning numbers. I think that's what's under consideration here.

I do understand that, and have read the thread. My only confusion is that Ty said in his facebook post about that if he didn't produce an albino tegu, the $3,000 would come from his pocket, not from the ICRF

Awesome find, Robert! Just gets better and better! Thanks for the screenshots, Dan.
