In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ty park/ ty lizards FL

When I asked him for a purple t+ he said NO
ty even admitted this publically. So in Oct when he tells me "give me your shipping info so he can ship it. What is he shipping?????
I would have just sent the addy, what did you imagine he was going to ship? A bag of coal?

so you should have sent him your address, then you could always sell the animal if you did not want it.
By that logic, any time a seller randomly decided to substitute any animal other than what was actually purchased, the buyer should just shut up about it and sell it off to try to recoup their money. Hell, I guess there's no real reason for anyone to actually live up to their word. At this point, I'm fairly convinced that you're just trolling.

I am going to stop posting, clearly I do not agree with many of you, and do not feel like getting blasted any more. But in parting I will say, I admire Ty for offering the prizes for a good cause, and I admire Michelle for her purchase of the tickets, $400 is a lot of money to most of us, and I assume she did it without any real thought that she would win, very admirable. :rollercoaster:

No, I don't think that an honest person would bother to try hiding behind such obviously irrelevant semantics. The terms of the raffle stated that one of the prizes would be a blue albino, which makes any purples produced entirely irrelevant to the raffle. In the same way that he wouldn't be obligated to substitute a purple in lieu of the blues that may not have been produced, the OP isn't obligated to accept anything other than what his terms clearly stated.

I think it ultimately amounts to a fairly simple contract: Winner gets either A or B. I don't believe he can just amend it on-the-fly without the agreement of the other parties that would be directly affected - especially without openly specifying that he reserved the right to do so from the beginning. Had the initial raffle post included verbiage that allowed for the substitution of animals with unknown lineage/origin, he'd have a leg to stand on.

He never told her he was supposedly going to send her a purple. Had he done so, there has been absolutely nothing posted that should lead a reasonable person to think that she wouldn't have instantly accepted. Instead, he decided to just play games, assuming that he ever really had any intention of sending her the purple, which I find doubtful.

Ty but I want to clarify something
The march 9 post where he was engaging his followers ty said 2 Albino blue tegus.
But the march 10 post when the raffle started he said 3 baby albino tegus. So if he only produced the t+ and not the t- then he should have just sent everyone a t+ because he was not specific and just said baby albino tegu. Both the t- blue and the t+ purple are both albinos

So I asked him for a purple but he said no the purples are 5,000 I owe you 2,500

The way ty had acted and lied several times. I had no idea what he was shipping because he wouldn't tell me. He said already said no that I couldn't have a purple, He had said a tegu like was pictured in the raffle. But it had already been established that he didn't produce any albino blues "like the photo in the raffle" and he said he couldn't get one from his friend.

Why didn't he say michelle I have decided to send you a t+ purple albino tegu that I have produced. That imo would have been more reasonable than just demanding my info without telling me what he was going to ship don't you think??

You do not think it is possible for Ty to feel that he did indeed produce albinos, although they were purple, and not blue. Maybe he felt he had the "produced by me" clause covered by the fact that he did produce, but did not want to give them away because they were far more valuable, so he felt he would purchase the prizes? He did tell Michelle that, and she did not agree.

Serious Casey.
THE RAFFLE WAS NOT FOR A PRIZE THAT HE WOULD BUY. AND any of the winners had every right to decline that offer. Even though I didn't decline I simply asked to the persons info and a pic that he refused to provide.

It was clear to me he was very irritated, and you were becoming irritated, he was clearly not going to send you $$, so you should have sent him your address, then you could always sell the animal if you did not want it. I have seen other instances where people did not want to involve their contacts, and/or friends. When you implied the raffle was scamy or shady, did you really think he would change his mind and send you cash?

He was clearly not going to send me the sash or a tegu that he produced!!!!! Both which were in his raffle terms

HE was irratated and rude from the start (maybe because I didn't just roll over and bow down to him.
I showed him NO DISRESPECT all I did was try to communicate to get my prize. That he stated in the raffle terms

I don't know why you can't underatans that

And you say get the animal and just sell it. Sorry Casey I don't flip animals. When they are here they are here to stay.

He had what she wanted and was entitled to, she should have played along.

Unlike ty. I am a straight forward person and don't "play"games.

And to even say "she should have just played along is rediculous.

Ty should have just honored the contract but he shows to play games He is not a stand up man. And he can not be trusted. I hope people who still choose to do business with him will do so with EXTREME caution or be prepared to be bullied and slandered if they don't follow Ty's new rules

I admire Ty for offering the prizes for a good cause

Offering, sure.

Delivering, well, now that's another story.....erm, well its the story that this whole thread is about. What are you even doing here? You clearly have no idea what's going on. At least you don't or can't grasp the basic concept of a contract.

Who cares how irritated he is? He is supposed to be a professional. This is business and she's the rightful winner. He didn't hold up his end and let his feelings and pride overshadow his logic and business sense.

Perhaps Casey was offered money to come here and defend Ty. All of a sudden, the thread becomes active again, he is here with one defense after another. Defenses that I'm not sure are all his.

Considering that his defenses basically amount to: a) she should just happily accept whatever Ty Park may have deigned to send her; or, b) if you squint really hard, you can almost see a pitiful semantics argument that must somehow excuse Ty's choice to completely stiff her of any prize - I think his ideas are laughable enough that they can easily be countered without really trying to cast any sinister aspersions regarding his motivations. Wouldn't want to "blast" someone for offering alternative opinions - no matter how uninformed and nonsensical they may be.

Funny I thought the same thing. We all know that Ty has already faked an account as His "lawyer"
Lawyers name was googled and he was dead and the email from "Ty's lawyer" and Ty's email was from the same ip adress. Nothing would surprise me at this point. wouldn't doubt it.

One thing that I don't mind is keeping this post bumped to the top for awareness :)

Good mews is that I now have a case # from the department of agriculture consumer services. I spoke to them today. They sent out a letter to me park yesterday and he has 30 days to respond. Although they can't force him to pay up. All coraspondances will be public

One of the reasons I have stayed quiet during this entire thread (despite reading along) is because of the amount of good that Ty's donations do for conservation. I DO NOT believe it should insulate him from accountability for his actions here, which I believe were deceptive at best, however, I didn't feel that one more voice piling on was helpful.

Having known Casey through the BOI for a number of years, I would never think he was offered money to defend anyone, nor would he accept it. I do understand, however, that he has a different point of view, and Ty's good works towards reptile conservation may have helped to shape that view.

Who are you, never heard of you, so I do not think I will take you very seriously. :)
Hard to stay away when people are talking about you.
You are right Lucille, quite the "super sleuth" eh. I was just trying to add a little logical thinking. Gosh, Ty is mean, a terrible business man, does not honor his contracts. Like Ty said after you brought suit Michelle, let the courts decide.

People dontae because they can afford to and want to heck I donate to non profits as well but I dont ask for or require gratification I do it out of my heart.
almost every time ty speaks he gloats/brags about how much money he spends and how much money he donates.
While I do applaud him (as I would anyone who donates) for helping many causes. I do NOT for one second think his generosity should in any way shape or form relieve him of his obligation to give me the prize I won *even if he felt I was "greedy". I should not have to beg for it and I should not have to sue for it
TY SHOULD JUST GIVE IT TO ME !!
He basically made a contract and failed to make good on it. So is everyone supposed to praise him for donating $14,510 to the IRCF AND JUST WIPE IT UNDER THE RUG THAT HE SCAMMED ME OUT OF MY PRIZE. !!!!

What he did was wrong , shady, deceitful and manipulative. He tried to bully me into accepting whatever he chose to send me , he belittled me, slandered me and called me names. That is not a man who people should look up to no matter how much money he has to donate or has donated.
It is disgusting the way that he acted here. He is egotistical and narcissistic and he has no regard for other people's feelings. He obviously doesn't even know right from wrong

I am also dissapointed with the IRCFS responce to this. Thee bottom line is that ty raised $14,510 for the IRCF from this raffle/auction. (That's IF he even donated it all to them ) but the IRCF could have easily talked to ty and tried to persuade him to give me one of the 6 T+ albinos that he still has and like the other 3 received and if ty was not willing imo they should/could have given me the $3,000. It still would have left them with $11,510.

Thank you Mike

Nothing you have said is logical. It's bias.
Ty would not give me the prize I won like a honest and reputable man would have done!!! And after he said I'll get nothing he told me to post it on fb and He told me to take him to court.
I started in my state but it looks like it will have to be taken to Fl because in my state raffles are illegal and they will most likely only award me 500

I won the raffle and the terms were clear. He chose to scam me out of the prize so why should I have to spend my own money on a Fl lawyer, incur travel expenses to Fl etc to get ty to give me what I rightfully won????

It's really hard to believe that anyone honestly thinks what he did is ok and thinks ty shouldnt have just honored HIS contract. Ending all of this un nessasary bs.

There is no such thing as t- albino blue tegu. ALL ALBINO BLUE TEGUS are t+ just lighter and darker forms of the same mutation.....both hatch from the same clutches....

I find it interesting that there hasn't been more of this discussed here in this thread. Seems to me to be a deception in itself just representing a "purple" as a different mutation.

As I understand it and please correct me if I'm wrong.
(I've only owned b and w and reds )
a t- (alot of times referred to as blue) + a t- (referred to as a purple)
But both come from the same parents, both are concidered blues and They are not A hybred.

The raffle (march 10) was for a baby albino tegu
