To be honest, reptile industry is historically dominated by European men and women. Some of the guys there, not really the most open minded people in the world. If you look at many of your "supporters" in here, most of them are from really red states. Such as Pennsylvania, the next site of Ruby ridge.

The type of bashing that Ty Paek has taken here is nothing short of what United Airlines did to that Asian doctor.

You guys post my facebook and some of my info here, what does it do? Am I going to get death threats from this?

Are you really comparing a negative transaction where a raffle participant, who paid money for her entries, did not get her prize that she was announced to have won, to where a doctor who did nothing but refuse to give up his seat was brutalized?

The only things the situation have in common are that one of the individuals of Asian ethnicity.

To turn this around, if Michelle's name was Song Eun-ji, would you still be defending Mr. Park?

Ty chooses to only allow people to post supportive comments on his page and blocks and removes who doesn't agree with him. That's a fact.
Yes it is his page and his posts and it's his choice to only allow his 5,000 friends and 10,000 followers to see the selective positive things about him.

Do you know what the definition of libel, slander and deframation is? It is exactly what he has done to me and yes I have proof. HE (ty) has called me multiple names, HE has not been forthcoming with everything , misleading people , not telling the truth in his many motions and he made posts that were only 1/2 true again that's a fact and with proof.

When things that are true ,like them not giving me the prize and not telling me what he was going to send me because he wanted to see what kind of person I was and said I was greedy that hurts his case.

That's laughable.
He can send me the t+ that he is selling for $3000 right now.
I've asked him many many times for the t+ tegu . He says no. (Because he feels greedy) If he doesn't want to send me it then yes I would want the cash but I've w yes the tegu.
Going to court makes no sense and is not "reasonable "as it will cost more in legal fees.

From his post back in page 7ish or 8ish he said, "She wanted the $3000 instead because "I didn't produce albino tegu"---which I clearly did." From what he said, I seems to be that he thought u wanted the money, and not the tegu for some reason. If he really feels that you trying to scam him, then it is his right to settle this in court. The true is you guys are laughing at each other.

Then again, this isn't Ty's first screwup. Lynn mentioned how Ty did him dirty long before this case. If I was a betting man, I would be more than willing to bet that Lynn wasn't Ty's first.

You heard one side of the Lynn and Ty transaction. We may never hear Ty's side of that transaction. Shouldn't you get both sides of the story before making judgement?

These are some of Fauna's longest and most active BOI 'bad guy' threads. Not a one of them are of Asian descent. I do think the 'King Cong' comment was uncalled for, but at the end of the day, making fun of someone's name doesn't inherently make that individual a racist - and trust me, I've seen way worse from Kennard to people who are white as snow. My impression is he doesn't suffer fools well.

Your implication that because my ethnicity means I'm unqualified to judge discrimination is, in itself, discriminatory and also very presumptuous. The only person behaving with prejudice is you. At the end of the day, most of the people replying here have a consistent track record of calling a Spade a Spade, regardless of who it is - and you can look at the other thread links and who the posters are in them to see for yourself.

Considering how he's vacillated throughout this thread, I think we're kinda just giving an attention whore his fix. As much as I generally hate to let idiocy go unchallenged, I seriously doubt that anyone will come across this thread and decide that racism played any part in it - at least, no one who doesn't need to grasp at the flimsiest, most non-existent straws to try to defend Ty Park. I think this may be a situation where the accusations of racism can be simplified to a "he who smelt it dealt it" kind of scenario - it may be a glimpse into their own natural tendencies.

Three of those four are actually real crooks. I am on the fence on Mike Matson. If you want to talk about spades, 3 of the 4 are real spades. If spades are crooks.

No, this site doesn't ask for any data about any member concerning race, national origin, or sexual orientation. Because in my opinion it is immaterial and irrelevant to the focus of the discussions that take place.

BTW, look at the name of the person in the topic line of this thread. FYI, it is "Ty Park". There is nothing in that name that indicates any sort of race or national origin at all. And my guess is that nearly everyone who doesn't know, or know of, Ty Park would not have a clue that he is of Korean ancestry. Much less care either way, in my opinion, concerning the focus of this discussion.
