• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm glad this all happened when the BOI was still operating and able to help you by exposing Ty Parks for what he was trying to do. I think that if it had closed it doors before this started with you, Parks would have come out on top. I'm not suggesting YOU would have quit, but the BOI's readers backing you every single day can't be underestimated in keeping your spirits up to go on.

And without the BOI next year, more of the Parks-type will be operating full time thinking that without the BOI, nothing is there to blow their cover.

I'm hoping some one with the time and capabilities to start up and run a something like Fauna's BOI is already seriously thinking about it.

Without it, the low lifes in this hobby will take it over .
