    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have paid for services that have NOT been delivered: Tyler Johnson DBA XoticsIndoor, Gilbert, AZ offered new and used cat litter trays for sale on or about 14 November 2002. I contacted him for his address and forwarded a US Postal Money Order ($85.00) for 50 trays on 19 Nov 2002.

Requested the status of my order on 3 Dec 2002 vai e-mail and received no reply. Called him a few days later and was told the trays would be shipped that Thrusday. I told him no rush now that the Christmas delivery season was upon us.

E-mailed Tyler on 2 January 2003 once the rush was over and requested that he ship the trays. His reply on 5 Jan 2003 was "Kool will do!"

On 19 January 2003 I e-mailed again asking if he had shipped the trays. I had no response from that e-mail. On 21 Jan 2003 I filed a Mail Fraud Report with the US Postal Inspection Service.

E-mailed Tyler on 24 Jan 2003 giving my one last chance before I filed withother agencies and his local authorities. No reply.

I was wondering what was special about the litter trays that you couldn't get at the local store (Just a question)? I know it makes people feel better when they send info to local authorities and other fraud agencies but they aren't going to spend time on this or any other small amount of money.. Hope you find some litter trays though...
 
What, are you my mother? You do the math. This 50-something year old will buy what I want, where I want and don't need to justify that to anyone. Most of the time I don't get ripped off. This isn't about "where" I decided to buy something; it's about with "whom" I deided to do business. I'd suggest you DON'T do business with Tyler Johnson. which is the POINT of this post.

Joel... I think Shannon hit this one right on the head!.... No matter what the item or how much the item cost, it was never delivered??....

BTW.... if you DO the math, she's only paying $1.70 each INCLUDING SHIPPING.... that's a VERY GOOD deal.... Try to find them at another store (even Walmart) for that kind of money??

Acctually Joel, I had a problem with a person I purchased over the internet from (non-herp products) and the amount was only about $100.00. I filed with internet fraud and immediate action was taken. You see, he may have only took me for $100.00, but he may have taken 50 other people for the same amount or more, that's why they take action on it, to stop it before he does a lot of damage.

Shannon i guess you can't read either. If your so smart you wouldn't have gotten ripped for litter pans now would you. If i were your mother i would've told you to go to the store and you wouldn't be here trying to rip me for a simple question (correct?) Did i not say i hope you get your pans I thought so)? As for reporting to agencies, post the investigation report so others know that actually go after small amounts...

In the end i'm glad being angry at me makes you feel better but you'd be better served ripping the guy that got you for litter pans...

Please show anywhere in my post where i said it was no big deal or it wasn't much money so don't worry about it.. It's funny how you people keep seeing things that aren't there...
 
Thought I recognized this one...

I dealt with this 'XoticsIndoor' a couple of years ago... He sent me an 11 ft male Burm that weighed 9 lbs, and said is was fine...

He told me that once I learned a little more about snakes, I would realize that males lose weight during breeding season, and this was perfectly acceptable. BS! An 11 ft male Burm should be AT LEAST 20 lbs, and that still would be on the light side. Anyone willing to ship a snake that looked THAT horrible should not be in the business. But then again... Look at some of the people here. We seem to be harboring criminals and juveniles lately...

I wouldn't trust this guy much at all... He's certainly a little more than just "shady".
 
Tyler in my eyes is a total peice of $hit! I'm not even going to keep emotion out of this I feel so strong about it. Not only is he unable to spell or compose an email or ad with any basic grammer but he has also yet to do one deal I know of that was satifactory to the buyer.

I would use any method you can to recoupe your money including filing charges locally or federally. I'm 90 miles from Phoenix and would be happy to locate any information you need about laws in Arizona that may help you.

Tyler has dealt with a few friends of mine always selling them sub-standard rodents. He has chosen unethical methods of running his business and compeating locally. Not to mention his obvious lack of education displaid in each any every thing her writes.

Tyler was also refering to Larry Sedrick (sp?) as his partner for some time and while I will leave my feelings on him to myself I thought that may be of help to somebody dealing with Tyler.

I dealt with Tyler about 5 years ago when I lived in Apache Junction, AZ. I bought some Sandfire beardies from him and they were PACKED FULL of coccidia. I lost 2 of them and it took me about 4 months to get the others back into shape. I met him through some freinds of mine, so I figured he was alright (ya right). I confronted him about it and he didn't even care. All that he is out there to do is make a quick buck, no matter who he stabs in the back in the process. He doesn't give a crap about the animals he sells and he sure doesn't give a crap about you.

Good luck trying to get your pans or your money back.

I understand why Shannon reacted to your response the way he did. An appropriate analogy to your reply would be asking what color the gun was after someone posted they had been shot.

The guy got screwed and you reply with a "gee you're dumb" post.

Obviously the focus should be on this weasel Tyler in Arizona who does this sort of thing as a matter of course.

You need to actually supply a name on your post, if you're going to be taking sides in all of this. It's part of the TOS for the BOI. If you don't it's likely that your post will be deleted soon.

I really don't give a (fill in the blank) why the guy responded the way he did. I'm happy you know how to make silly what color was he gun stories i'm sure your friends and family are happy for you also. Show me where in my original post i called the guy dumb. I asked the a simple question but i guess you didn't see that. I also wished him luck in getting his "litter pans" anyway.
My original post is old but i guess it took awhile for you to think of that "what color was the gun" comment..
