Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi, well as you all nkow, Christmas is coming soon, and i want another snake. i was wondering what kind of snakes are good pets and arent corn snakes or ball python. If there arent any others that i like really, i will most likely ask for another ball python.
 
A VERY GOOD

starter snake would be a common colombian boa. You just can't beat'em!
 
Look into carpet pythons too--CB ones are usually quite friendly, and they stay a bit smaller, and therefore easier to handle than a boa--though boas are great too.

For boas, dumerils boas and colombian boas (BCI) are both good choices.

Kingsnakes are nice as well, bullsnakes/gopher snakes and milksnakes too....some can get quite large (6+ ft.) and quite a few different kinds/morphs....and most usually eat quite well/readily.

some of the best natured snakes and easiest one to keep have been brooks kings. they can get kinda large for a king.. they come in different colors..... are generally quite docile.. seem to have tons of personality... eat like no ones bidness... just a very beautiful, calm easy to take care of snake... and they have lots of character
