    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Typhlonectes natans; “Rio Cauca caecilian” cb 2019

I have three Typhlonectes natans; “Rio Cauca caecilians" aka Rubber Eels for sale. These are captive bred from one of the only breeding colonies left in the USA. They are 6 months old; growing quickly and eating well on sinking pellets and earthworm pieces. They are a very hardy species; but do require a few considerations. Your aquarium lid must be completely sealed; these are escape artists unmatched in nature except for the octopus. No openings of any kind. They are a tropical species; and do best when kept above 80F.

These have not been imported in over 15 years since being banned by the local governments. These are very rare in the USA now. If you don't like the price, please go complain to the people selling fancy designer ball python and leopard gecko morphs for 1000+$. Those aren't rare... these are. I am only selling three of them this year.

$250 each; plus shipping costs. References available on my Triton Newts FB page.

Sold two more; but still have at least 4 available. $150 each (plus SYR) if you buy multiples. These are very hardy and grow like weeds.

A couple of adults might be available. Message me if serious. Take a look at the original price for juveniles, double it. Add shipping costs (FYI, it will be overnight, in a large heavy box, $$$$). Still interested and not wasting my time? send a message.

I am interested in juveniles if they ever become available. Shipping doesn't seem like it is necessary. I have a bunch of axolotls and frogs up here in northern MN.

Don't go for those wild caught, underground living animals that are loaded with parasites and will hide away in it's habitat filled with dirt.

Get yourself a genuine captive bred aquatic caecilian for a heavily planted tropical aquarium to show off something really cool and unique. Eating pellets, bloodworms, blackworms, earthworms, krill and growing like weeds.

I have some captive bred full adults for sale. This is a breeder group. $275, or $250 ea 2+. LAG shipped to local FedEX shipment hub for you to pickup. No LAG to residential addresses. Overnight express typically $90-110 due to box size and weight.

I have one or two left. These will be the last I offer. Ever. I do not know of anyone else actively breeding this species in captivity for sale.
