    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

For those unfamiliar with Ultratherms, they have been the premier heating element in Europe for years and are now taking the North American market by storm. The low wattage design uses less electricity and has a lower maximum operating temperature. On average, the operating temps are 15 degrees Celsius above ambient room temperature making it a safer alternative should there be a thermostat failure. Ultratherms have a double layer of insulation giving it long lasting durability. It also enables the elements to be used inside the enclosure, making it an ideal element for heating those large wooden enclusures. As an added bonus, the heating elements come pre-wired with a 6' cord and are ready to plug and go. No need to worry about your electrical skills. Ultratherms are UL listed.

The manufacturer suggests that you can plug the ultratherms directly into an outlet because the operating temps are only 15 C above ambient temps. I always recommend plugging them into a rheostat or thermostat because as an electrical product it can potentially fail. A rheostat is a very cheap source of insurance when the well being of your animals could be at risk.

I did the conversion to F. and it is only 60 degress F. Is this correct. I really want to use this in the gardening industry but I need 70-75F. Do you have this.Hit me back I am very interested. If they work for me I can do 10+

Ultratherms would work fine on the neodesha cages. I have sold plenty for this application.

Rob, what is the ambient temp of the room you want to use the ultratherms? Most people don't have problems maintaining temps from 85-95F. The only way the elements would be around 60F is if your room is around 40F which is pretty cold.

Shipping costs really aren't too bad. Regular service is roughly $11 and does not include insurance. Express service is around $17 and includes insurance. This is the box charge and I can ship around 5 elements without it affecting the price.
