• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi. I need to reserve a home for my 19 year old Umbrella Cockatoo. We are thinking about selling her, so we wanted to find a home that will be ready to take her when she needs to go. I'm asking $800 OBO, which includes her XL cage, food, accessories, etc. I will also accept Boa trades or other large constrictors. She plucked a few feathers off her chest, but is still beautiful. She is very smart, knows how to get out of cage. We have two other birds and she's great with them (both males). She cannot go to a home with dogs or cats. She attacks our dogs and cats relentlessly. We have a Great Dane and she will willing put a hole through his nose she goes after our Yorkie and Mini. Poodle, so she's not size specific. None of our animals go after each other either, she just started this up about a month ago. She doesn't bite people at all. I think she's a one-person bird as she only wants to be around me, but will let others handle her.
