In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Underground Reptiles

if the experience was bad we usually get the reason(s) why. If it was good, then there is no further explanation needed. Just saying

Come on dude... I don't want a report that is obiviously propagada..
. I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday.... I want to know how the animal was shipped, if it was in good health and if complaints were handled good and correctly.... I previously said I judge your one sentence replies telling me it was great was propaganda.... Details

You're coming on pretty strong for someone new to the site...

I've never ordered from underground and I won't, based on the threads here that I've taken the time to go through and read...

His blacktbroat monitor deal was great.... Nothing on their health and how they were shipped... Lame.... Propaganda I suspect since you didn't go into detail...

How about you stop being stupid and accept that the animal was fine. If there was a damn problem with the shipping, it would have been mentioned. Shipping was fine, hence the deal was fine.

Let me explain something, my being lack of experience on this forum and someone who is well known should not deflate who you send quality animals to.... I personally have kept reptiles for over 25 years.... For someone to say the quality depends on how experienced the hobbyist is Bull.... We should be promoting this hobby with good healthy specimens, no matter if they are weak and unhealthy or not.... Our hobby depends on it.... We want healthy animals.... Why don't you stop being stupid UTTA, no one wnats a dead product

James Gammage here....
I am probably gonna post a couple of inquiries of the next few days as I am looking for the best place to buy the snakes, frogs, and reptiles I want to start breeding.... This is for Underground Reptiles.... Any knowledge on past transactions would be appreciated... Thank you

Uh, if you have kept reptiles for "over 25 years", should you not already know or be experienced in keeping those "snakes, frogs and reptiles" you want to start breeding?

Should you not already have a modicum of knowledge regarding reputable breeders/vendors after 25 years of keeping whatever you have kept? Should you not already have a clue about breeding those "snakes, frogs and reptiles" after 25 years?

Perhaps take a deep breath, a step back and listen. You asked for feedback. You got it. Loose the attitude. We ain't the enemy :)

Seriously, drop the chip on your shoulder. I wasn't comparing your time on this forum to your experiences in the hobby. I was comparing your time on this forum to your horrible attitude and sense of entitlement. I too have been in the hobby for 25+ years, I still treat others with respect, especially when I'm asking them for help...

The threads are here. Many threads about underground reptiles, both good and bad, already exist. Go read them yourself, and then make your decision. Don't sit here and demand that we all regurgitate it here in this thread and make your decision for you.

What are you talking about? No one said that quality or a healthy animal depends on years of experience in the hobby...

I bought 2.1 rhino viper babies from Underground a few years back. They were farm-bred, imported babies, so I knew the risks. The guys I talked to there were very friendly and communicative, gave me a price break because I bought 3 animals, and kept touching base with me during the shipping. Delta lost my package, so the poor snakes were 6 hours late getting to me, but they arrived alive and well. My only complaint was that they were shipped in very damp moss, which may seem like a good idea on the surface for humidity-loving snakes, but can cause water blisters.
One male went to a friend of mine, and the other pair I kept. My two did very well, and were eating, shedding, growing like weeds from the start.

I have since seen a lot of negative threads on Underground, and I don't doubt the people who post them, but my experience was not bad. I don't know if I'd buy again, since seeing all the negative threads, but I felt that putting in a detailed description of my experience was worthwhile to this thread.

I constantly buy from underground reptiles. I get everything there that I need for my reptiles. I have about 5 lizards and 3 snakes that I have bought from them and I have 0 complaints at all. The staff at the shop is excellent. I would highly recommend them.

And no it was Ben Siegel and that's a totally different store that has been bough by someone who is quite well versed in the reptile world

GAME , SET , MATCH! ;)

I have had two orders come from them this year. I will say the animals were all healthy and there was no DOAs. I actually just got 6 WC Bearded Pygmy chameleons from there last week. As far as shipping goes the boxes had heat when needed and had any other thing that comes in standard shipping. But I didn't not like how they crammed the animals in there. My first order this year was for a hatchling ball, baby bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko. Two of the deli cups were sitting up right but the second was smashed into the box on its side. It was smashed enough that there was 1/2"-3/4" dent in the bottom corner of the cup. Everything arrived safe it just seemed like the deli cups were smashed in a bit to much. The customer service is alright also. Would I hesitate to purchase from them, no I wouldn't but generally when I'm looking around they are the last place I look to see if they have what I need.

James, what is the real purpose of this thread. I'm thinking you prob already read something negative about underground before you started this thread and I think this is an attempt to be a smear campaign for underground reptiles. You have a hard time excepting that people have had good experiences with them. I think your only looking for negative post but it's backfiring on you.
You come on here saying you want to start breeding frogs, snakes and other reptiles. Is this your attemp at trying to look cool and trying to fit in. I don't know I just thought that was a weird random statement.
Laura you hit the nail on the head. Sounds kinda weird someone that's been into reptiles for 25 years just found this sight. This sight has been around for 13 years now.
This is not meant to be a rude comment but my guess is this sight is around the same age as you. You do not sound like an adult. If I'm wrong I will apologize. But I'll need to see real proof first. I always follow my gut and my gut is telling me your a child.
Your reply to my post will I'm sure tell everyone quite a bit more about yourself. I know kids hate to be called kids when there trying to act like adults behind a key board. One day you will understand what I'm saying.

Its not a smear campaign.... Its an attempt to see how their practices are going now.... I really had hopes of ordering from them but I saw the had posts in this forum....I may or I may not now

I am 41 years old.... Not a kid... I may have gotten a little intoxicated last night but what exactly have I said that made you think I was a child....

And I never said that I just found this sight recently, I said I just started using it.... Big difference.... Does everyone who owns reptiles have to use this sight, is it mandatory???? I started out keeping reptiles when I worked at a pet store called Big Bert's about 25 years ago, I was in charge of cleaning the cages of the reptiles and doing some sales.... No I have not bred any reptiles, but I have owned many reptiles that I have obtained from stores... Now if you are gonna attack me and call me underage, then you must know you are dealing with a 41 year old man...

Hmmmm I didn't attack anyone on this forum.... That would be UTTA.... Now excuse me while continue to get a straight answer on the questions I have asked...
